Do these come Maryland compliant with hbar barrel? Thanks
Is the deal being honored, price up a bit online
I'd normally say avoid Cerberus, but this is sub PSA price. Low enough it's reasonable to take the chance it will come from the factory with rust.
Great deal here. I've had my Oracle for 2 years and have out thousands of rounds through with no issue. It's a great base AR that you can build onto with no issue. Mine will shoot brass and steel cased ammo no problems.
I bought one of these last time they did a rebate. Paid $365 out the door after transfer fee. I changed the furniture and added a Leopold but it shoots surprisingly well for the price. No jams and about 1.5" groups with Wolf Gold
I stole one from a local dealer on Black Friday for 220 and threw Magpul furniture and vertical grip on it with the money saved. So far, zero complaints. The supplied mag is not to my liking, but we all basically use Tapco or Magpul anyways, right? This is a decent firearm for the money. I do recommend this one for a budget AR. Also, no iron sights, but I usually prefer a red dot or scope anyways depending on range
I owned this gun for about a year before selling it because I got a different AR. It was a workhorse; steady and unfailingly reliable the entire time. I paid about double what this site is asking and it was a deal then. Easy to upgrade scope and furniture to make it your own. No frills or sacrifices in the design.
Yep I was just thinking the samething! I got excited when I saw this ad until I looked at price,,
This is a good price but I should have bought this when it was 414 a few months ago :(
Wow. This is indeed a great price! As soon as I saw this I bought it. FWIW I posted it over on slickdeals as well (so the lib's get a chance to buy one too)
Can't beat the gun at this price. I got it for $550 3 years ago but sold it so now ill get it again. After the election the gun nuts will pay twice this price.
Smoking deal! Less than $400 for an AR after 2.5% back with SG credit card and another 2.5% cash back through ebates. Even without all that it's still a great deal. Not to mention, you can use the 30 day buyers club trial and the 4-pay plan if you aren't already a member.
I ordered one for $419.22 shipped this AM from SPG ^^^. Didn't do the CC offer or ebates, but did the 30-day trial of Buyers Club, which I will cancel before I am billed for it. Should be able to fetch $800+ after Billary is elected.
I've bought several items from SG and always had fantastic prices and fast shipping. So what if you get a better deal to be a member...doesn't mean they're a horrible dealer. I've saved my membership fees many times over with my purchases. If you want good deals sometimes you gotta pay a little upfront...who cares. If you choose not to so be it but move on and quit bitching about it....where else can you buy a gun with only 1/4 th down and actually recieve the gun BEFORE it's paid off? Sounds worth it to me just for that deal. It's nice to find something that might be on sale or a fantastic deal and actually be able to get it even if you may not have all the money upfront at that exact time or before the deal expires....you can use any debit or credit card to use the 4 pay plan too....that's just my opinion anyhow. ..
I bought this 2 years ago for 650, and do not regret it.
I'm no secret squirrel, sandbox operator, but for a middle aged guy target shooting, this is more than enough gun for just about anyone. Don;t believe the hype from the gun snobs.
I've fired multiple brands of ARa from guys at the range, and just like any other tool, it's the person not the tool. Though if you have a shitty tool it wil affect your outcome, but these are far from shitty.
I hit bull's-eye more often than not in a tight grouping with this, just I have with other ARs ranging in price well over $2000.
My only gripe with it is that the gas block mounting rail is not at the same height as the flat top, other wise no complaints.
With only about1500 rounds just hitting paper, I'm happy with it, and recommend it to anyone looking for a well made AR at an affordable price.
gun.deals has promised the ability to block Sportsmen Guide. I wish they would hurry.
Sorry, but why? are these not a good price? Is it because of the membership fee?
Just curious, as I find that sometimes even with that fee, some things are less expensive than other's
woohoo2you -thanks for your time and efforts near the shooting range we need more men(and women) like you, thanks
we also need more post like yours.
It's my pleasure to serve however I will never be as great of a hero as Selfm8d / Ty1998. It is people like that who are the glue that holds this nation together ;)
After eleven decades working in a maritime sandbox environments as a trainer of scuba ninja jet fighters I have found rifles such as DPMS and Anderson's to be less reliable than satisfactory but will give no opinions to weapons I would prefer in their place. Mind you that I have more experience than most Navy SEALS do because of my "private contracting" background cutting grass and receiving a 1099 within earshot of a shooting range..for bonus points I go to a local pawn shop twice a week to look at the Mossberg 802 I have on layaway. Add on top of that I have watched iraqveteran8888 on YouTube so many times he has blocked me to the fact I actually passed the training mission on Call of Duty on the 9th try proves I know more than you.
Eleven decades ? Dude, how old are you? Are does it just seem like you been doing it that long?
can I get a 84 month loan on this gun like I have for my Ford F350?
Good deal. My first AR was an Oracle and I have been very happy with it. My son prefers it over the the other two we have. The only negative is that ours won't shoot steel case ammo but that isn't a deal breaker because they weren't designed to shoot it like an AK.
They are the best there... Flat rate shipping of 10$ (So it will be the same price as Gander with there 25 shipping fee and more likely to have no tax, so better deal then them as a FFL fee be cheaper then tax) and absolutely great service/shipping... Used them a few times in mags and stuff.
$638 shipped . . . if you're a Bud's "pay-me-more-for-the-honor" VIP member.
The old style oracle had no dust cover or forward assist. I believe DPMS changed that up because they realized people wanted the real look and feel of a real M16/AR15/M4. When in all reality when you have to use the forward assist to force a round into the chamber chances are the rim is going to rip off when you fire it.
They're showing out of stock on this gun. Not sure when they'll get it back in.
Sportical 556 is what you are referring to no dust cover or shell deflector. Has a Smooth round receiver. SHOOTS GREAT love mine $250 each at Walmart when they blew out the ones in stock Walmart no longer sells these rifles or any semi auto rifle .
The Sportical is the one without the Forward Assist, and Dust Cover, NOT the Oracle.
The picture shows Forward assist and a dust cover door at Bud's but does this item actually have a forward assist. For some reason I thought the Oracle didn't have a Forward assist or Dust cover door. Seems like a pretty good price if it does.
I believe this is the correct model on DPMS website - http://www.dpmsinc.com/store/products/?prod=5632&cat=1891...
seems like it does have a dust cover and a Round forward assist. Again this is assuming that Bud's listed the part number correctly.
Tempted to buy one just because they are so damned cheap. Put a few bucks into it and it will be a lot better even though there is nothing wrong with it now.
