I bought mine at 1316.97 shipped before the 50 dollar MIR. Final price will be 1266.97 after rebate. Looks like CTD may be falling back to their old ways...anyways I hope not but time will tell...I wanted to document pricing for historical purposes.

I'll sacrifice a pound or so & another $200 and go with a Springfield M1A Scout Squad.

I have already made the decision to boycott Cheaper than Dirt for LIFE; no matter how low their prices are.

As stated they CRUSH you on shipping. They had Tula ammo cheap the other day and I wanted to check the shipping. I added 10 boxes to my cart and calculated shipping. It said part of the shipment had to come from a separate warehouse. So they added 17.00 for shipping on the first lot and an additional 13.10 for the other.

This is one of the biggest shit ball companies I've seen in my lifetime.. They look for any way possible to absolutely rape you.

Thats just now. I won't even mention what crap they pulled over the last year during the gun & ammo run.

During the panic buying last year, CTD jacked their prices up to absolutely insane levels, beyond what would even be considered gouging. As the gun buying frenzy subsided, CTD chose to keep their prices at ridiculous levels for an extended period of time to milk all they could from naïve, panicked, and first time buyers.

Man! I didn't realize they went that low...I have always purchased firearms and ammo online thru grabagun, sportsmanoutdoorsupercenter, larrys pistol and pawn, palmetto state armory, ammunition depot and D&L Hunting supplies...the first two being my primary firearm suppliers...I would always check CTD but was always able to find it cheaper at the other places listed above. A 7.62 AR has been on my must have list for a while and DPMS impressed me with the recon and when I saw the G2 Recon released last month I had to have it. CTD is one of only a handful of online retailers that actually have it in stock at this time, and for 1317 bucks out the door I couldn't resist...

I guess the only negative thing I can say about CTD right now is that their website states a 10 to 15 day processing time before firearms ship. when I called to inquire about who they used for shipping and also asked why the crazy delay the sales rep said its due to the high volume of sales they are experiencing...whether this is true or not is the question...

On a positive note I did purchase the DPMS G2 Recon from them and when I checked the very next day the price was 28 dollars cheaper, I called them yesterday and she refunded me the difference with no questions asked! my order says partial shipped today...not sure what to make of that because I only ordered the G2 Recon.

They were selling them before they had their inventory on hand. No doubt.

8 months ago, CTD would have only charged you $2999 for this rifle.

"This" rifle was just released at the 2014 shotshow last month...

"That" comment was just an example of their past practices.
