I'm sure all derringers go bang when you pull the trigger.
I believe that Double Eagle is a Chiappa brand, its imported by ATI (American Tactical Imports). It should be at least as good as the Cobra. I have actually heard several bad things about Cobras, but you can't judge a company on only few reviews. Also, derringer guns have more than a 100 year tradion, i think it would be pretty hard to screw a derringer up.
How does this compare to the Cobra Derringer posted here a week ago? Cobra is cheaper and you can get in in bigger calibers.
