Duracoat in Rusted Brown locally here in San Jose, CA. Items are brand new and hand-painted to mimic a “worn out” (distress) look. No two sets are alike!
The rusted brown “distress” is faded to black so that it’ll match with any upper without the abrupt break. See the last pictures.
Included steel barrel nut, shims, mounting accessories, and a 5″ aluminum Picatinny rails.
Does NOT come with upper, barrel or muzzle flash. The last pictures are for references only.
Purchased a Spikes - Aero Precision upper kit from them last year. Seemed like a descent looking kit to have an extra laying around but it came with a thin aluminum gas block that I threw away and a rail that seemed to have a little wear on it. Turrns out the rail has a fitment issue with excessive play and wobbles when seatted on the barrel nut. It took 2 hrs to get it acceptably timed to the receiver rail with screw holes that didn't match up very well. It appeared to have been a return item that was probably defective for the 1st owner rather than damaged by them. I'm not trying to hate on the company and this was the only item I've purchased from them. I finally got around to assembling it 10 months after purchase and decided not contact to company about it becaus it was relatively inexpensive and ultimately workable, but wanted to share my experience.
