You want to see an American company with great USA made product & old fashioned service is Henry rifles. I e-mailed the president on Sat with comments on the great service & a few ideas & he e-mailed me on sunday & sent me a cap, stocking hat, 2 coffee mugs & a key ring, all top quality & all made in the USA & free. Real people that really care answer the phone & know about the products they sell. Henry restores my belief that we CAN make quality products with Great quality & reasonable products here in the USA. $369 shipped for an Oct barreled 22 or 17HMR with my Grandson name as the serial# & $419/shipped for a Philmont Special for my son who went to Philmont when he got his Eagle Scout.

My pro-gun policy goes way beyond Dick's Sporting goods.
Just a little example, while visiting Peigon Forge, TN last summer. My wife and I spent an evening walking around a new area called "The Island". WhIle checking out the different establishments, we came across a store called "The Beef Jerky Outlet". In large letters on the front door was a sign
stating....."We encourage concealed carry in our store and support the 2nd Amendment". After talking to the store owners and learning they were retired law enforcement and military.......we spent approx $100 on beef jerky from their store.
Over the past several years, my family has made a habit of avoiding anti-gun establishments. It's really not that difficult to do. This is America and we have other choices on where we spend our money. Same reason we dont eat at Buffalo Wild Wings. So yes, my pro-gun policies extend way beyond Dick's.
But do they extend to Walmart? (I noticed you avoided that but cheers on the beef jerky) They are just as "anti-gun" as Dicks as their policy has been identical to Dicks every time there is a mass shooting and have now they vowed to never carry another black rifle again. Also Sears, Kmart, Roses, and countless Farm supply chains have completely stopped carrying guns and ammo altogether.
I do not have kids and refuse to shop at "Build-a-bear"..... do I deserve a cookie for my political stance? A boycott of a store you don't shop at is hardly bearing a cross or making a statement.
these guys are dicks. remember their outrage after sandy hook and yanking all sporting rifles. then there was the troy carbine black friday deal they couldn't honor. seriously people, move along
No deals here, I bought the same Savage Trophy Hunter with the same scope in 308 from Buds back in the summer for $284 & a $75 rebate off that. Dicks are just that Dicks. No more $$ from me.
They won't get any business from me, following their anti-gun policy after Sandy Hook in 2012. They pulled all their firearms(except shotguns) and ammo from their stores. Only to put them back in months later, when they realized all the money they were missing out on. Dick's Sportings Goods released several anti-gun statements during this time also.
Support pro-gun establishments.....DICK'S ISN'T ONE!!

Do you shop at Walmart? They have pulled AR's out of their stores more times than just about every gun store combined. Kmart? Sears? They stopped selling guns altogether years ago. No offense but I kinda doubt your "pro-gun only” policy extends past Dick’s and their prices are so high you probably didn’t shop there to begin with.
No I don't worship at the altar of Walmart because when they were " saving" this or that little US company they were not just buying from china they were building their own factories in china. Walmart & lieing, cheating profit only, don't care about people companies are why America is where it is. What suprises me is the people they put out of work are they're biggest fans. They will never get any of my $$
These dicks at dicks are anti-gun. They have a attitude when you go to buy ammo. Call them to see if something is in stock and they can never give you the truth . Go there black friday and wait in line Go up to the firearms counter and they order you to go here or there in lines like you have to beg them. Shove it dicks.
