Not sure how this got linked as an actual deal @ $202... I see the same thing as you do Mrjames. No way to submit a price match as called out here. I'm seeing closer to $300 cash/credit card. JamesS is a deal shill for gun.deals so I'm not surprised it doesn't work. Note there has been no activity on this gun since November 2015 but suddenly this deal shows up today.

Peace out.

A couple of things to note - 1. DiamondBack has had issues with supplying spare mags for this gun. 2 it is not rated for +P ammo. 3. This is a joint venture between Taurus & Diamondback. That said you might as well get the Taurus PT-111 G2 (9mm) that can use SIG p226 mags giving you more options. 12+1 base CC configuration or 20+1 running a Mec-Gar p226 mag

Currently Kentucky gun Co has then for $239 w/free shipping. Also Taurus has a $50 rebate until 12/31/2015 so end cost is $189

I ordered one from this company....light primer strikes.Gun looked like it had at least 100 RDS thru it...I should have refused transfer. If u do order one make sure u inspect the slide and breech carefully mine had the finish wore off it had been shot so many times. It does shoot great after I got it back from Taurus service dept.I think my gun was a customer return....buyer beware!

Epic Fail

DB almost had a decent product and alot of people took a look at this gun. The first thing to try to get past was the incredibly bas trigged for which there is no help. Secondly, propriety DB mags that are at least 2 rounds short of what they should be.

Finally, people began to really shoot these and report that they are failing to run which I have seen firsthand from one with less than 600 rounds. There are better budget pistols out there. Dont waste your money. I suspect that distributers will trying to dump these quickly.

Owned one since February of 2015. Shoots great, no problems at all.

They stopped giving away the free sunglasses. I would not trust this gun for personal defense. Too many Fte and FTF problems, you "could" make it reliable, but why bother.

Let's see - service sized pistol that has: no extra mags avail (DB just listed a whole TEN mags on their website) is NOT +P rated,
http://www.diamondbackfirearms.com/ammunition-guide.aspx...
and what reviews can be found are mixed??? I think one would be much better off with a Walther PPX-1 for a little more $279 on sale that comes with 2 mags & can be had in 9mm & .40 cal. And in two finishes.

I agreed with all of your reasoning until you brought up the PPX... don't trade a dog for a slightly better dog. I love Walther guns, but the PPX looks like a PPQ and a Hi Point had a baby they'd rather forget about.

While I can't argue with the "looks" that you accurately point out, I care less about how a gun looks as I do about how it works. All the reviews I've see on the PPX have been decent. So for the folks on a really tight budget, it is a far better choice than the DB9FS IMHO.

I love the PPX, and i would have purchased one by now if it didn't have a 16 round magazine, and i live in Colorado, therefore no website will ship it out here because we have a 15 round limit now :(. I might have to buy it out of state but that negates my savings. Also, the PPX is clearly a wiser choice over this Diamondback

ugliest gun this side of a high point...

I bit on this deal...mostly for the sunglasses, but when it showed up at the FFL, it looked used. The bore was filthy, the barrel had wear marks worse than my PPQ, which has seen over a 1000 rounds and the frame to rail metal guides showed heavy use. I denied it and sent it back...still hoping for the sunglasses :)

Great! I paid nearly twice that much from a local gun shop a few months ago. Just my luck! This gun is like a knock off glock but a lot cheaper.
