It’s not “mostly Gen 1 Guns”. These are complete shit. And to say the customer service is great is a fucking lie. Especially considering you have never dealt with their customer service otherwise you would realize how stupid you sound sucking their udders. I had two examples. Both were shit. And don’t tell me about limp wristing or break ins. My daily carry is a Kahr CM40. Almost 4,000 rounds. No malfunctions. Get fucked!
You are entitled to express your opinion, but not to question mine, call me a liar, question my integrity, and finally use profanity. I have three different DB products (DB9, DB15 Pistol, and DB15 Carbine, all have proven reliable and I have interfaced with their customer service multiple times and was impressed with their "make the customer happy" attitude. Those are facts.
I misread this, I thought it was $9.99 for the gun and $17.99 for shipping, which made sense.
My EDC, my 1year old Gen II DB9 has been reliable with 115Gr FMJ and JHP Brass, Lifetime Warranty and excellent customer service if you happen to get one that wont run but most of the bad reviews are from Gen I guns. Carrying an 11 oz 9mm vs most subcompact competitors in the 17-22oz range is a night and day difference that results in carrying a lot more often. My prior carry was a LC9s equipped with tritium sights and laser and its gathering dust these days unless I am carrying IWB. Meanwhile the DB9 rides in the back pocket of my jeans or cargo pocket of shorts far more often. For under $200, there isnt much risk as you could always sell it for that if you dont like it and decide to move up to a different gun thats over 50% heavier. The only one even close to it in weight is the Keltec PF9, which I have owned and is no more reliable than the DB9 in my direct experience, as all super lightweight 9s will be susceptible to limp wristing due to the mass (lack of) of the slide absorbing recoil. FYI, there is no slide catch or safety on this firearm as those are metal parts that would have added to its overall weight putting it right about even with the PF9 that has a slide catch but a very long DAO Trigger vs the Striker Fired trigger of the DB9 which is way better.
Is this for a gen2? It looks like it but doesn't specify.
