Don't waste your time and money.
Very compact and CC looks promising on the outside.
But this was one of the worst pistols I ever bought, reliability was terrible.

Stay away.

I had an older version it Jammed in ways I've never seen, alot of double stovepipe with live rounds. Sent it in twice they blamed the magazines but thats just a way to get it back out the door it was hopeless. I still buy one now and then hoping it'll work cause i have a thing for tiny guns but no avail. The price on this is Ludacris what the heck is wrong with this site

If you’re paying this much for this giant little pos you’re too late buy a baseball bat.

Mine had multiple jams so I sent it back. When I received it back it had a new barrel. Which looks much higher quality than the original. It works flawlessly now!

Jamming starts at
50 rounds for me. Sent back and they replaced the magazine springs with something much stronger and stiffer. You can tell it was manually cut as one was cut on the wrong side and protruded above the plastic follow feeder. If this happens to you, you might have to ask for replacement stronger springs.

I picked one up from Lanbo last month and was very happy with my first range trip. Appears Diamondback has their early quality/reliability issues resolved as I had no feeding or jamming issues with a brand new super lightweight 9mm. Even shot the last three rounds one handed with no problems, which is something I couldn't have done with the PF9 I carried for six years.

My current CCWs are the DB9 for pocket carry (fits in back pocket of Levis) in jeans or cargo shorts and a Ruger LC9s for IWB. The Ruger is easier to shoot, holds 9+1, and has better sights but there is a big difference between the Ruger at 17oz and the Diamondback at 11oz! At this price, its pretty easy to justify having a lightweight alternative under $200.

Be sure to follow the instructions, no +p ammo, nothing bigger than 124gr. I shot WWB and Fed Champion 115gr FMJ and Fed Classic 115 JHP without issue, a requirement before I would consider carrying it. A lot of the complainers about this gun didn't follow directions regarding ammo, some were rightfully complaining about the 1st generation of the DB9, and others just badmouth anything less than $400.

Nice to read a positive review, so many parrots whove never even shot one talking $#!*. Need to put 400 - 500 rnds of various ammo through any EDC consideration to even develop an initial opinion.

No worries, lifetime warranty and Kim at Diamondback is very responsive regarding customer service issues. Sounds like the old mag spring issue. The Diamondback Owners Forum can be very helpful.

I sent it back 2 times had my wife and my friend shoot it to make sure it wasn't me. I sold it to a gun store for 70 bucks.
