Diamondback Firearms is proud to present the DB380. A micro-compact .380 automatic pistol made entirely in the USA. Designed with safety in mind, the DB380 features a "ZERO-Energy" striker firing system with a mechanical firing pin block, a steel magazine catch to secure a sheet metal magazine and real windage-adjustable sights, all in a lightweight pistol.

A steel trigger with dual connecting bars allows for a crisp smooth, trigger pull. The DB380 features a FEA (Finite Element Analysis) designed slide and barrel that is stronger than any comparable firearm, resulting in durability with less felt recoil, and the absence of removable pins or tools makes field stripping easier than ever. The slide, barrel, and internal parts are coated to resist corrosion, making this pistol a lifetime investment.

This is a Gen 2 but anyway it is too prone to failures. I have tried 3 brands of ammo without any success. Next time I will try the white box winchester than other here have tried to see if finally it shots without a failure. I'll report back. For the meantime I don't recommend it.

I have1, little heavy for a 380 but it works well, it eats white box Winchester like rosie odonnel eating at golden corral, I carry taurus 738 more just because its lighter, by a lot. My 70yr old mom loves shooting the diamond back, she just might get it for moms day! I have ordered from CDNN many times over the last 10 years, 2x in past month and it has always been top quality service! my last order was turned over so fast that my ffl called and told me that he had a new tool waiting for me before fedx notified me that the pkg had left Tx! I emailed thanks to both fedx and cdnn!

Called CDNN this morning. They confirmed this is the second gen with the larger extractor.
Threw my money at them right after they clarified that.

Too many failures! I would love for this gun to work properly because it was so concealable and comfortable to shoot. It is also easy to break down to clean and service. Mine just had too many failures with all ammo I put through it. I could not count on it to come through when my life depended on it.

Did you own Generation 1 or Generation 2 of this gun? I know the Gen 1 were prone to failure. The G2 version is supposed to be a lot better. Unfortunately CDNN won't answer my email to verify if this is G1 or G2, I must call and wait on the sales phone line. No thanks =P.
