This rifle uses a carbine length gas system along with a 16" barrel which is fitted with a classic A2 flash hider to reduce recoil and make follow-up shots easier. This rifle features 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers, an optics ready Picatinny rail, a Magpul pistol grip and Magpul stock. The 16" barrel is made from 4150 CrMov steel and is coated in a black nitride finish which offers excellent durability and wear resistance. A 15" aluminum free float Diamondback hand guard has multiple sides of M-LOK slots which provide you with an almost limitless number of accessory mounting locations
