"Match grade": The new BS term to replace "mil spec."

Although I'm in MI, I don't know much about Detroit Gun Works (I think that is the brand of this product "DGW"). But they did make lowers and barrels at least through 2013-2014. Currently, they have a nice website where they indicate the do contract work. AR15.com had a reference that they produce the components for Code Red Lowers as well as comments attesting to the quality of their work.

Brownells used to sell a decent reviewed 308 lower: https://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/receiver-parts/receivers/lower-receivers/308-ar-stripped-lower-receiver-prod65421.aspx?avs%7cManufacturer_1=DETROIT%2bGUN%2bWORKS...

So yeah, I wouldn't say that means much of a web presence or any real help on what exactly they mean by "match grade" but that's what I was able to find.

BUYER BEWARE! Seller and google search gave no information on type of steel, finish, or specifications for this barrel. DGW data shows no history of ever investing or making an effect to compete in the OEM, or retail AR 15 barrel market. 1/9 twist AR 15 barrels have fallen out of favor with both builders and manufacturers due to their inability to stabilize heavier bullets. The 1/9 twist AR 15 is following in the same foot steps as the flip phone, and Walkman. They are all still functional, but things have evolved. In my opinion there are better ways to spent a $110.

1/9 stabilizes the 55 and 62gr bullets really well, and that's what a lot of people shoot. 1/7 is indeed better for a heavier bullet.
