Description

Fresh produce. In the immediate aftermath of a disaster, it becomes a scarce luxury. In a survival situation, you need a plan to replace the essential nutrients you get from fruit - vitamins, minerals, fiber and more. That's why we created the Fruit Case Pack Kit, packed with three of Ready Hour's highly-nutritious freeze-dried fruits. Each is individually sealed in case packs.
Benefits:
Bulk cases with multiple pouches
Ultimate in convenience and choice
Easy to prepare
Great for camping trips
Up to 25-year shelf-life unopened
Up to 1-year shelf-life after opening
Requires no refrigeration
Gluten free
Made in the USA
Total calories 10,400
Strawberries & Blueberries last up to 30 years in storage; Bananas up to 10 years
Our case packs allow you to buy in large quantities, without wasting what you don't use right away. This helps you maintain the shelf life of your food until you're ready to cook it.

It's best to store this emergency food in a dry, cool location — a dark area, if possible, at temperatures between 55°F and 70°F. Actual shelf life may vary based on individual storage conditions.

The baked beans come in a bag to help prevent them spilling all over yourself while watching Cars 2.

"Deal' of the Day" is actually $22.45, NOT $17.45.

They use this (colloidal silver) in cannabis seed production to make female seeds. FYI.

You can make this yourself with a 9V battery, a silver coin, and some distilled water (look it up).
This company is always looking to assrape with whatever product of the week.

So, it boils down to about $8 a pound for pancake mix huh ?
You can buy a helluva lot better stuff for that $8 a pound.

Are these real tactical pancakes, or mall ninja pancakes?

Nothing against Patriot supply but you’re way over paying. Get yourself some Mountain House if you want delicious food you’ll actually eat good for 25 years. Otherwise buy some Mylar bags, oxygen absorbers and bag your own whatever.

Maybe to feed the hogs you are raising for real food. Corn is one of the worst veggies you can consume, nutritionally.

Sounds good too me. Guessing some of you all just have not been that fucking hungry before.

Sounds like you have been hungry for hours, not days. Junk food and empty calories are great for satisfying you until the next meal, not sustaining you until the next time you might eat....all the while probably performing strenuous activities. If this fell from the sky during a during a disaster, no one would look a gift horse in the mouth, but we are talking planning months, maybe YEARS before you might need the rations. Wouldn't making a better decision be prudent? Especially when most of the better options cost almost exactly the same?

Honestly you could assemble this same kit at Walmart for about $20 and it would last 5+ years (according to the label) without putting in mylar bags. Realistically and unless seals broken, it would last just as long as this 'food' regardless of the printed expiration date.

Buy mountain house and buy it slowly. These big packages usually have a lot of cheap stuff like pancake mixes and granola. In a SHTF scenario are you really going to make pancakes? Or would boil water and eat be easier???

0 votes

Actually in a SHTF scenario you are more than likely going to be stuck at one place for long periods of time and without much to do. Preparing food and eating are time consuming activities which are helpful for coping in bad situations. Now, if you were on the move, in a hostile environment, etc then pancakes would not be optimal but something that did not need preparation like granola would be great.

But yes, I agree most of these survival food kits contain LOTS of crap filler, like pancakes that are nothing more than junk food to make you feel full as opposed to truly feeding / replenishing your body.

I use these when playing Fallout 4. The ones in the game work better.

This is an iodine pill not an...."anti-radiation tablet.

Wow, and people buy from these guys. I would not even trust their food with misleading product names like this.

OK well, TECHNICALLY it's not beef, but I mean, you could mistake a horse for a cow on a dark night.

For this price plus any shipping fees you may have, I could buy enough of the ingredients to make probably 100-150 muffins depending upon size. Just not worth the costs included within this "deal"

Does any one know much about this company ?

I know this is an old question however I will say that this company is a solid company and stands behind their products. They have good customer service too. I believe it's is founded by and the staff are veterans. Now as far as the argument regarding the products, what's the best, the goods and bad's and opinions about what one needs during a SHTF scenario that's up in the air and I am only speaking on the company itself. I've bought a few items over the past couple years and shipping and quality have been good.

this is ridiculous. Anyone with a half a brain can find better emergency rations that have way more caloric intake for the money. Anyone who can follow a few steps also can, can and store your own food items that will taste much better. If weight or size is important simply buy your own food dehydrator and make your own shelf stable foods. As others have said worse case MRE's are a better option too. Most of the dehydrated and canned "emergency rations" have so very little calories and nutritional value for the space they take up. Its all a gimmick really, just like "astronaut ice cream"... lol. Again anyone with minimal skill and some free time can easily make their own emergency rations that contain much greater nutritional value and MUCH better taste. You can even add extra calories and or nutritional value by adding protein powders, carbs, minerals and additional vitamins.
Also you dont get as much added chemicals and preservatives. Sure, your home made food items may not have a 25 year shelf life but I dont care what brand or type rations they are, I wouldnt eat anything 25 years old... lol. But of course this is all just my opinion and experience.

Do you ever watch Steve1989's reviews of MREs over on YT? I love how he stumbled on a freeze drier unit for cheap and made his own [some time in the first year of the Kung Flu pandemic, iirc?] Good stuff...

Actual MREs were around 3000 calories so this is a terrible deal. Also, youre getting the same shitty choices of expired MREs that Marines did. Fuckin Army had the new buffalo chicken MREs that we would ratfuck a case for any chance we got.

No they are not, and they are just as expensive

I don't think MREs were ever 3000 calories (even if you eat EVERYTHING in the package), they do not put saltpeter in the water kill the sexual appetites of people during basic training, Mr. Rogers was not an army sniper, and there is no Geneva Convention rule against using .50 cals against personnel...no need to aim at belt buckles.

90 percent of the crap you heard in basic was BS. All the above came directly from the mouths of my drill sergeants and it was all false.

SnakeEaters are real though right? But seriously point me to some decent MREs

Ratfuck... there is a term I haven’t heard since rummaging through MREs back in the 90’s, trying to find one that wasn’t tuna or ham that would jar you up for a full week lol

Super upset they don’t have vegan, soy free, wheat free, peanut free, egg free, gluten free, Keto-paleo friendly options. Not hip enough for men I guess I’ll just keep watching Phish concert reruns and keep Dreaming.

Why would you keep pancake mix? It’s nutritionally pointless, it requires a flat skillet to cook, etc. This isn’t emergency preparedness it’s stupidity.

I have eaten some of these and I have eaten some horse & mule feed from the Feed store.
The horse and mule tasted better, cost less, and last just about as long.

Years back, our office had this as emergency rations in California in case of earthquake.
It's like eating chewy sawdust, followed by stomach ache, and you shit bricks for 2 days afterwards.
Also seen the same in coast guard ration pack - this stuff would truly be 'last resort' food, and not food to be used to stockpile at your home or bunker.
