I use the backup ghost ring sights on my C9, target acquisition is easy and it's accurate. This rear sight ring seems to be a lot bigger so that may make it more difficult.

Haven't shot with one, but have used the version for shotguns. The shotgun version is pretty clever, but I wouldn't touch this pistol version with a 10' pole. It's a ridiculous product.

It's far too big to be practical for a pistol, and any sight radius benefit from the rear sight being pushed back is negated by the front sight losing the long sight radius. The exceptionally large rear sight is great for some things, such as, if you want to hang it on your Christmas tree.

As I'm getting older, I use 1.25 or 1.50 readers and I have Trijicon HD sights on all most of my sidearms, except for two, one has a RMR (which rarely gets used, and that sidearm rarely leaves my gun vault) and the other is SIG sights that are exceptionally bright, when they dim, they will get Trijicon HD's.

My AR backup irons I wouldnt be caught dead with tritium rears, but I do have Blitzkrieg high visibility chevron and straight front sight posts on two of my rifles, but they are modified as I have tritium tubes in many colors and sizes, that I customize for these large front sight posts for people like me that aren't spring chickens.

If your blind as a bat, this Dead Ringer might be a good fit, for everyone else, there are far better options for people with less than perfect vision.

Haha thanks for the feedback. Was thinking of putting it on my m&p 45 for home defense. Faster target acquisition and night sights. But not sure if the big front sight would fit the serpa holster for drawing from holster target shooting.
