Description

The Czech M52, commonly referred to as the Vz-52, is a rare Czech-made rifle that is highly sought after by shooters and collectors alike. These rifles were extremely rare in the U.S. marketplace over the last several years, but we just secured a very small exclusive lot of rifles. No collection is complete without one. Don't miss this. See images and accompanying video for full details. C&R Eligible.

Avoid Classic Firearms like the coronavirus. Horrible company.

I don’t think I have seen to many favorable comments about this store, I will try to avoid doing business with them.

Sent an SKS missing and damaged parts, refused to give me credit to purchase missing/damaged parts for the rifle to operate. Don't buy from them!

It’s like an SKS, but not reliable, lacking easily available spare parts, in an inconvenient caliber, with a shot out bore, and being sold for double market value.

Karl of InRangeTV fame tried to use one of these in a 2GAC match & it failed miserably. He threw it into a dumpster at the end of the match...

Obsolete gun that saw little to no combat with a round that once the surplus ammo has dried up is not available. At a price that's quite obviously 40% higher than anyone else is selling for. Skip the fat sweaty man and go on gunbroker to find a better deal.

This is 7.62x45. not 54r. It's just a longer 7.62x39 cartridge.

Ammo is unobtainium new. Only Czech surplus from the 50s, 60s, 70s. I believe this is the only rifle that fired this cartridge. I think someone contacted S&B about making it again and it's a no go since there are only a few thousand of these circulating and wouldn't be worth the tooling cost.

There are factory rebarreled VZ52s that fire 7.62x39. They are $1000+

IIRC, the new & improved Vz57 was originally in 7.62x45, until the Soviets put their foot down & pointed out that Czechoslovakia was part of the Warsaw Pact and everyone in the WP needed to adhere to the USSR ammo standards...

Deal? I say no deal until they drop that price.

"...the Vz-52, is a rare Czech-made rifle that is highly sought after by shooters and collectors alike"

Keep on saying it & some will bite.

Caliber listed wrong. 7.62x54r. Looks like a great $299 rifle!

Where did you get your info? If you google 762x45 you’ll learn that this is one of the few guns that fires this round. I’m skeptical that it’s a typo

43 cents at lowestammo.com Ammo is pretty hard to find for these at a decent price. I’ve had one of these for years but never shot it because I only have a few hundred rounds of ammo for it. Going to buy a case and maybe shoot a little and hoard the rest.

Taking the photo against a rusted background helps camouflage the rust on the guns.
