Can anyone give me their actual opinion and hands on experience with the grip angle on this weapon? Im looking to buy one but the angle of that grip looks extreme and I am curious if anyone finds it too much or is it better to have that angle? I want to buy one and put an adjustable brace on it, a nice red dot optic, and probably some sort of light as itll be a home defense weapon. "shouldering" this firearm and with that angle of the grip is what I am curious about. Id love to hear your actual hands on experience and respectful opinion. Thanks!
*Update* I was just researching the grip and found out it is in fact removable and there are a handful of aftermarket grips available in different sizes, grip type, and even angles. So that at least gives me more confidence in buying one. Still open to experiences though. I hear alot of back and forth that this gun is nothing more than a paper puncher, range toy and alot of people say that a pistol or an AR is all one needs and are better suited for a variety of scenarios but thats their opinions. If we are all honest sometimes we buy just because a weapon is "cool" first then the capability of the weapon is sought later... lol. Personally I think this is a fine home defense weapon that set up properly is every bit as capable as any pistol. I also would use this in a home defense situation over an AR15 any day. With the AR15 you have to worry about over penetration and end up shooting a family member up to a neighbor as they easily shoot thru walls. At least with the 9mm short barrel, and availability of home defense tailored ammunition, you can again set this up for its specific use. "To each their own, and thats why we live in the USA!"
The grip and safety can be changed out, it very easy to do
Shot my buddy's once without brace. Just remember the safety selector digging into my hand real bad. But I'm sure all that can be addressed with aftermarket or a dremmel tool.
the grip is easily replaced with aftermarket grips with better angles (ergos) so not a problem at all, off hand my brain goes to strike Industries, HB industries, and I believe magpul but not sure. Strike makes a lotta parts for the scorpion, mag release, grips, safety levers etc
I have a yetiwurks grip on my cz carbine and love it, I was actually able to get one of these on order so I’m stoked to have the pistol version..
