As a follow up, it was user error. The palm pad of my thumb was riding the slide release, keeping it from rising to stop the slide. CZ was super fast at reaction speed and offered up a prepaid shipping label to get things figured out. Fortunately, I’m just an idiot. LOL!
I bought on this deal also. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet and have 4 more mags on order. I'll take it out and break it in when the get here. I'll report if I have any slide locking issues. I do love everything about this pistol though.
Been looking for these in-stock with a good price ever since they came out. Picked mine up from this vendor and came into my LGS earlier this week. Now 150 rounds of 115gr through the barrel, and she still won’t lock back the slide after the last round is extracted. Tried two different manufacturers of factory ammo. Tried some very light 3000 grit sanding on the four frame connectors for the slide. Tried field stripping and cleaning. Tried both mags. Made sure I wasn’t limp-wristing it on the last round. Just won’t hold open after extracting that last round. I have a TON of CZ pistols, and this is the first that won’t eat whatever I feed it. Have a warranty request in with CZ. We’ll see what they say.
Love the ergonomics and trigger is very good out of the box. Grip length is just long enough for my pinky. Should be a bit easier to conceal than my P-10 C.
One thing that surprised me was the new cases. These don’t have the cutouts for the pistol like every other CZ I’ve bought. Still came with everything, but it was very reminiscent of how Glock packages their stuff, minus the dividers. Didn’t expect that.
As for vendor - prompt communication and shipping of order. Sent tracking number right away, and everything checked out awesome. Will absolutely buy from them again if the deal is right.
