Surprisingly mushy single action trigger pull, I measured it at 3.5#. A nice audible and tactile positive trigger reset, but the takeup after reset is so long before you encounter the wall, and the wall itself is so light and long and creepy that it make the overall single action pull experience feel long, light, and mushy. I couldn't "ride the reset" and prestage the trigger right before the wall like I can with my Tristar T-120. After reset I felt like I was hunting for the wall with the P-09 and usually crashed right through it during rapid fire. I tried for my normal 0.25 second splits but only got maybe 0.75 splits. Disclaimer is that I only shot a few mags thru my friend's P-09, and for the comparison gun I installed the $34 Cajun Gun Works SPGK1 3 Piece Spring Kit in my Tristar T-120 and I've shot my T-120 a bunch.

The one great thing the P-09 has is a factory 19 rnd mag that is only as long as the 17 rnd t-120 mag. It's just a tad wider mag. Neither my friend nor I experienced a single malfunction a few hundred rounds of various ammo taking the new gun fresh out of the box and shooting it no extra lube or cleaning or anything. It also shot nice tight slowfire groups when I slowed way down with that long mushy trigger, as tight as my T-120.

This is a good deal for the 9mm version, even with the $20 shipping its only $420. The P09 is one of the most underrated handguns on the market. Cz makes the best 9mm handguns in my opinion
