Our first long-slide 1911, the Bruin was born to hunt. The long slide means a long sight radius and the 6.3? barrel within allows full-power 10mm loads as much time as possible to use their powder charge. Fully adjustable tritium sights ensure when shooting hours arrive, you’ll be able to see the sights. Not only that, but we’re using a tritium/fiber optic combo front sight to make sure the front glows day or night.

What are you guys dumb as rocks? You're talking about 10mm in the description and the gun is .45acp. .45 sucks ass for hunting.

agree with the description statement and I don't care whose name is on it, it's to much $ for me to spend on a cz but...
granted 45acp is not the best rnd for hunting and never my first choice, but sucks ass? have you ever tried to kill anything other then paper with a 45acp? this past summer I shot 3 deer on kill permit with a 5" 1911 and win talons because it was what I had with me when they stepped outa the corn, 2 heart/lung and a headshot,1 was 40yrds the other 2 were closer, the 2 body shots didn't go 50yrds, try to get those results with most of the other carry gun cartridges

The Bruin is available in 45acp and 10mm. The SKU listed here "01882" is in fact the SKU for the 45acp.
While the description above is very confusing it's straight from CZ's website.
I also think its a little unfair to call a Dan Wesson a CZ. While CZ US may own Dan Wesson these are semi hand-fit 1911's that are often compared with 1911's that cost 2-3x the price. I can't speak for the Bruin since its fairly new offering but I wouldn't hesitate to say that most Dan Wesson firearms are absolute bargains for what you get.
