Description

Corbon's 380 ACP JHP ammunition is a perfect choice to meet your self-defense needs!
Corbon has been a leader in premium defense ammunition for over 25 years and continues to lead the charge. Their standard JHP line of ammunition sets the bar for performance with it's ultra hot loads. Corbon's ammo is loaded to high velocities to ensure that energy is "dumped" as they put it into the target. Additionally, their select components feature great expansion and are all tested in ballistic gelatin to achieve penetration from 9-12 inches deep depending on the load.
Corbon ammunition is made in America.

You must have me confused with the voices in your head, not banned, and why would I get banned ? You should be banned before I would ever be. I’m still LMFAO at your dumb ass comment ( Lodged Just Under The Skin, Pulled Out With Bare Fingers ) That was FN FNNY !

Is that all you got ( slope ) ? Remove the sl and replace with a D & it’s you DOPE . hahahahahahahah - close range a 380 is just as lethal as a 9mm or 38 with proper shot placement - wrap ur wrist with a Ace Bandage the recoil won’t be to bad 4u

Ahh, upvoting yourself...knew I recognized your lame typing and lacking mental capacity.
I'll wait til you're banned again.

THORAX - If Bella Twin, a Canadian woman, killed a (then) world-record grizzly bear with a .22 Short, which is slightly less powerful than a .22 LR. Then you got to be nuts if you don’t think a 380 with right placement isn’t a self defense round - he he he ha ha ha

Again with the 'I haven't shot shit with a 380' lines.
Sectional density, look it up, slope.

( Lodged Just Under The Skin, Pulled Out With Bare Fingers ) how far was the shot 2 miles ? Thorax you sound like a complete Jackass, I’m LMFAO what a Jackass - Just put a regular round through 4 scrap pieces - of 1 inch plywood = 4” and it went through it like a hot knife through butter @ 15 yards, you must be talking about your gran pa’s Daisy Red Ryder pop gun. LMFAO ** pulled out with bare fingers ** that’s 2 FKN Funny !!!

To YOU
Go shoot a living critter larger than a rat with one (and not a rabbit either, you can kill a rabbit with a low power bb gun).
You'll START to understand that ballistic gelatin has shit zero to do with the real world.
The highest penetration I've personally seen from a 380 is it lodging just under the skin and the bullet was pulled out with bare fingers.
Yes it was a human, the gang banger that shot him was real surprised when the guy turned around and shot him dead after the gang banger put 8 380 rounds in the guys back.
380acp popularity has nothing to do with performance and everything to do with marketing.
GO SHOOT SOMETHING WITH ONE and then lets see all your remarks.

4 dollars per round for 380 ladies and gentlemen. We all know this guy is a total POS but even this has to be a typo.

I wouldn't pay $4 per round even for Hornady Critical Defense. Plenty of capable 380 rounds out there like Liberty Civil Defense and Inceptor ARX for much lower.

While I would never again own a 380 gutless POS that the round is...
CorBon is vastly superior to Hornady in every way imaginable, I suggest you do a bit of research.
Saying that, there isn't a pistol round made that should fetch more than about a buck a round (and that's for the exotic shit like 454 casull and 500 s&w, let alone the JDJ stuff (950 JDJ)).

Unfortunately, 380 fetches a high price, regardless. But considering the advantage of concealed carry that the caliber offers, being able to wear normal clothes rather than going baggy like some old man, it's worth the price for many people like myself.

That said, Inceptor ARX, Liberty Civil Defense, Underwood Xtreme Defender/Penetrator, and others hyper ammos make the round extremely viable for self defense. Many of these rounds travel at higher velocities than a 357 magnum with far less recoil.

You can't just shrug off the 380 anymore.

You do understand that the reason they are faster, with less recoil, is because they are extremely light-for-caliber bullets....right?

There's no such thing as a free lunch, and a 125gr .357 Magnum at 1400 fps is far more powerful than any 380 ACP ever made.

Soooo...a 380acp traveling at ~1000fps is equal to a 357mag traveling at 1400+ fps ???
Just because you own one does not mean it is a realistic self defense round.
Go shoot a cat with one and then tell me how well it works.
No, really, TRY to kill a living creature larger than a mouse with 1 single shot.
It CANNOT be done.
I have done so and KNOW without a doubt it is a useless cartridge for ....well....anything.
Hell shrug it off....I sold the POS and got a real cartridge for self defense and I had one of the very best 380s you could ever get (beretta 85F) goodbye POS.

I never said it was "equal", I said that many of the hyper-ammos in 380 ACP can travel as fast as a 357 magnum. The impact of a .357 will still be significantly greater, but that does not negate the fact that 380 still has more than enough penetration and stopping power.

Here's some of the 380 acp rounds I'm talking about:
Inceptor ARX, 50 grain, travels at 1260 FPS.
Liberty Civil Defense, also 50 grain, travels at 1500 FPS
Underwood Extreme Defender, 68gr, travels at 1300 FPS

There are others but that's enough to make my point. Velocity makes a huge difference with ammo. That type of ammunition makes a super-concealable pocket 380 a very, very effective self defense weapon.

And no, I don't care to shoot any animals other than armadillos and I use my .22 magnum rifle for those. But, for your consideration, I'll try to hit the next one with my wife's 380 using some Hornady JHPs.

Hah, its a good caliber for pocket/BUG. Shot placement is more important than ft*lbs anyway.

So, you've never shot a living critter with one have you ?
Have a little compassion....don't.
