Allot of people think a forward assit is a big deal but I was in the military when there were no forward assists so you had to pull back on the charging handle again and throw out the bad round on the ground no biggie and as for the dust cover I don't know about everyones conditions at there ranges I perfer not to shoot when the wind is blowing and if you clean your gun after every fire shouldn't be a problem. I know beginners want all the gadgets but simple sometimes is best. Its a great deal
Ah they changed the barrel.. now heavy barrel instead of the typical style. No longer 504084 but 7780229. Anyone know of other differences? Still wishing I had $300 bux...
Somebody tell us how to order this none of the links take me anywhere but right back here

OK Im a noob so excuse my stupidity. If I order the PTAC 16" M4 5.56 NATO Slick Side 1:9 Rifle Kit - 504084 AND the Anderson Mfg AR-15 Stripped Lower Receiver Mil-Spec AR15-A3-LWFOR I should be able to assemble it myself? If I want to add a mag and site later thats possible right? Thanks in advance.
Yes, this is everything you need to build a rifle minus the optic / sight and a mag. If you have a little common sense, basic hand tools, and access to YouTube this should work for you.
No forward assistant and no dust cover, can`t install later those the upper not suitable for that. Just a note.
How is it a complete rifle if it's a striped lower? Also why is it 2 lowers?
Stripped lower with all the lower parts (DIY). Only thing missing is a mag. The two lowers are with free shipping and the single is +shipping; guess they figured some people would rather an extra lower instead of eating freight on a single.
How is this misleading? It says exactly what's included. A 30rd Pmag costs like $12. I don't know how you can expect a functional AR for less..
Anybody know the difference between these two uppers. I'm not seeing anything obvious.
This is misleading. It doesn't account for various shipping charges and FFL fees. Plus it doesn't account for the fact that you'd need a rear sight/red dot and a magazine.
Honestly....what....the....fuck....are you talking about? FFL fees? So is every single posting on this site misleading because it doesn't account for FFL fees? Seriously - you said some of the stupidest shit I've seen on here.
It also does not include the price of ammo, range fees, gas to get to the range, cleaning kits, cleaning solvents, hearing protection, safety glasses, the fact you will never stop swapping parts….fuck, this $338 rifle kit is going to cost thousands. We should start a class action lawsuit for fault advertising!
I bought a car and the dealership mislead me because it did not come with a driver license or insurance :(
Only downside is that it's a slick side. But for the $ , it's a helluva deal.
It's not misleading at all, dickhead. It's still a rifle. All that other shit is up to the end user.
what forward assist have to do with bad round?
with forward assist you can check if the bolt fully closed, and the bolt may stop closing if rifle dirty... no dust cover will help get dirty.
just my thought.
