7.62x39 best bang for your buck, defense, hog/deer hunting, and plinking!
Awesome brush gun too! Semi automatic, more compact and similar ballistics of a 30-30, but cost way less to shoot! Get it while the getting is good!

This is a 7.62x39 upper with a 5.56/.223 lower!?!

The AR15 7.62x39 bcg and upper works on a AR15 lower it doesn't matter if it’s stamp 5.56 or not. That’s why a lot of manufactures are just stamping Multi on the lowers. ( Which this one is stamped Multi ). Just get a AR15 magazine designed to shoot 7.62x39, I recommend C Products Defense mags.

Ok, that is where my confusion lies; My understanding was that the 7.62x39 upper would require a lower that would accept standard 7.62x39 magazines. So from what you are saying, I would need to purchase AR-15 magazines, that are designed specifically for 7.62x39 rounds. Not sure if I would go this route, but I understand this may be desired for some.

The other way to be able to enjoy this great all round cartridge in AR15 platform is to get a lower that is designed to shoot the AK mags, but unless you have a lot of AK mags, this way is typically a more expensive route and there’s not many of those lowers around. I like going with the regular AR15 lower and AR15 mags designed to shoot 7.62x39, cause you can always put another upper on and shoot a different caliber with an AR15 lower. You will not find a better bang for your buck than a AR 7.62x39 pistol!
