Its telling me that this one dose not qualify for the rebate
Yeah online was saying same thing so my boyfriend called and have serial number and it was fine. They were very helpful and said had been some glitches w some website not allowing rebate from certain retailers.
How much are the mags for these? Looks like about $30. The SW one is about $12.
Wow great price. Can you provide a link? I'm in need of spares for my Colt M4.

Also sell relatively inexpensive mags
Great little rifles & a blast (no pun intended) to shoot, plus an awesome trainer for younger folks before starting them on an AR! I bought one of these at Wal Mart several years ago.....BEFORE they lost their balls and removed "assault-style rifles" from their shelves. It's digested every type of .22 LR out that I've fed it.
I've put between 4000-6000 rounds through mine with only a couple of FTEs- and those happened when I'd already shot several hundred rounds through the gun . The only thing I'm not crazy about is that the bolt catch is a facade, at least on the older ones like mine- but this isn't a show stopper.
For the money I would choose this over a m&p. The m&p is mostly made of plastic and feels like a pellet gun. This walther/colt is majority metal.
I have the m&p and its been great, however i wanted the walther but at the time they were hard to find and i was all excited and impatient.
Look into the Bushmaster C22 if you want a complete 22 Ar-15 Style Rifle. Has a Carbon 15 lower (any ar-15 upper will run on this lower) and recently was available for $250 at Buds after a $50 rebate. The M&P 15-22 is also a great 22 LR AR-15 available around $300. Both the M&P 15-22 and Bushmaster C-22 use a standard ar-15 trigger which makes swap out to a better trigger very simple.
Why would anyone buy the proprietary upper from Palmetto State Armory or CMMG at $400+ when it's possible to get the factory Colt (Walther, whatever) for $299?
I believe you can swap out the BCG and magazines and run 5.56 on the cmmg uppers you’re speaking of. Can’t do that with these.
Because of quality, no plastic, I own a spikes AR22, it will attach to any 5.56 lower, the mags fit all 5.56 lowers.
So Spikes AR22 with 4.5 inch barrel, sparrow suppressor, giessle trigger = big fun!
Pretty cool- dead ringer for a Colt CAR-15- pretend you're a LRRP in Vee-at-nam. Gets good reviews from what I have seen.
Genuine Colt ... Replica. Sounds good.
Is it possible to convert it into a real AR15?
I dont believe so. I have smith&wesson's version and the buffer tube is not hollow or detachable, but then again the right brain might could make it happen!
I've been back and forth about buying one of these. Is it worth getting?
exterior of gun is great. feels like a real AR. but interior is junk, barrel is unbelievably thin. I wish a company makes a 22 that has a exterior of this gun and interior of M&P 15-22.
I have owned this rifle. Accurate but front post is annoying and accessories are spendy and hard to find. Sold it.
These are good to get people started
