I would look at the user provided images on the site. A lot are complaining of large gouges in the receiver extension that shouldn't exist as well as general fit/finish issues like weirdly bent gas tubes.

And people wonder why colt is getting out of the AR game

I'm going to buy this and put it on an Anderson lower just to piss off the tactical Timmys

Too high for me . I would be on it if it came with a bcg/ch and minus sights

The complete rifle with MBUS sights and B5 stock is $1200 shipped from Arms Unlimited so you guys decide what’s best for your situation.

Kind of tempting, kind of not.

Still seems high.

At $450, you can pair this with a Colt complete lower, that was on sale at Brownells in the past for 190 shipped, add a bcg/ch and you have a Colt Combat Unit, LE6960 that retails for $12-1300. I happened to have a couple spare Colt bcg's &CHs, so all in, it cost me $640 for a complete LE6960 CCU. That's a good deal if you put it together and wait for deals. Add a high quality bcg and ch and you're still well under $900 total for the complete rifle.

How much time does it take for the parts laying around to cost nothing? I assume you paid for them and now magically they are free

A year ago 6920 complete rifles were sub $700. Is this a deal now?

This is a mid length gas system so not exactly comparable to 6920. Also no FSP obviously...

Big money considering 6920s were going for a little over $700 not even a year ago.

The Colt LE6920 OEM versions were around that price, but not complete LE6920 rifles in the $700 range?? Maybe some sale price and always out of stock? This doesn't have a BCG though but still seems like a decent enough price if you're in the market.

Here's some interesting numbers from around the 2012-2013 price jumps:

I bought one for that price a year ago and I still see them around every now and then.

Here is the deal I posted 9 months ago. Of course OOS now.

Using this site only, right now the lowest price for a complete Colt LE6920 is at Deguns.net $848.00. That's not what I would say is in the $700 range. Would you? Did you check and find better prices in stock?

That complete LE6920 at Deguns.net is not a complete CCU version, which carries a retail price ~$300 higher.
