Sadly those days are behind us. I dont foresee those prices coming back, atleast not anytime soon.
Many of the "quality" ARs jumped up $200 in the past 2 months. The standard 6920 was $750 2 months ago; I bought one.

Up until last fall one could get a Colt OEM1 6920 (no furniture) for as low as $630 at tombstonetactical.com and a complete 6920 for $750ish. This is no deal. Just a quick search will show a different gunsite selling the 6920 for $799. Its not wearing MagPul furniture though.
Considering other retailers online have raised their prices to $1100 on this weapon and are sold out, this is a deal. Also remember that no other AR15 (Colt) sells for more when there is a "panic". And Armsunlimited is only selling this for about $20 more than normal.
not a deal. I saw the same magpul 6920 on sale for $720 several times in 2017.
