At least with Brownells you know it's in stock and will ship at a reasonable time frame.
Not many others you can say that about anymore....Midway is the same, maybe higher priced but without a doubt Midway ships faster than Amazon or Rockauto
Looks like $200 barrel. But Colt is written on it, and Brownells is selling it.

No they are not cold hammer forged, they are chrome lined, which is the current military version.
Standard button cut rifling and the newer SoCom thicker barrel, recognizable by the granade flats that would be under the handguard, behind the front sight block (or Front sight TOWER according to Brownells)....
COLT SOCOM barrels are super accurate and can sustain high volume fire.
I wouldn't call this one a "bad" deal, but two or three years ago, these can be had for $200 to $250.
