Ehhh not really what i would expect from a "closeout" price

All MKIII's have been discontinued, so you can consider all of them on 'closeout', no matter the listing. From what we can see, we are $20 lower on this particular model than the next price, and $100 cheaper than some. How much cheaper than the next store should we be, before this is considered priced aggressively enough to be a deal?

I own one of these that I bought used for $200 out the door. My only complaint is that the trigger pull is longer and harder than I expected AND putting it back together after you have taken it apart is a complete and utter pain in the ass. I am not talking "follow the instructions and you'll figure it out" pain in the ass, I am talking "watching 50 youtube videos and be stuck with a bolt that won't pull out or cycle properly" pain in the ass.

The dis-assembly and reassembly of the MKIII is by far the biggest down fall of it. Mark my words, DO NOT take it apart unless you REALLY MUST clean it. I got a migraine the last time I put mine back together and really wish I videotaped it so I could figure out what actually fixed it.

I don't want to say avoid this gun because it is a lot of fun... but... if you can find the same type of gun for less with a rail, go for it and try not to go the MKIII route if you can avoid it.

Ruger prides itself on that kind of takedown procedure. Mini 14 almost as bad. Idiot that I am, I have one of each.
