This comes out to $76 with s/h, way to expensive for 500 rounds of 22LR, this isn't a deal at all.
@ fastinred98, porciniman
Yep. You are right. There is a big difference in price.
The difference between plinkers and competitors. Is a HUGE gap. Plinkers waste their money.
3rd place out of 27 shooters. That is a huge gap. I only used 31 rounds. For 30 pins.
Bet I had more fun...:)
people that over spend on .22lr are part of the problem and not part of the solution
OMG.!
$60 a brick.?
Now I know why Obama got elected TWICE.!!!!!!!
People are stupid.!
The LRN shot great. Shooting pin tops at 32'. 12 sets. 2 different Rugers. 2 failure to eject. Red dot avg. 6 sec.
Recoil/powder charge is very similar. Beats mini-mags that stuff is all over the place.
So for $0.12 very good price. It's cheaper than match grade. But, shoots like it.
This is the biggest stankiest load of BS recently. Mexican junk ammo better than quality AMERICAN made CCI ammo? You're full of it, there is no way in hell they have better QC than CCI here in Idaho. And theres not a single 22lr round on the planet worth 12cents a round ever.
I cannot believe that this ammo is worth more than the CCI I just bought from another vendor for $0.08 a round ( no shipping cost) . and I got 600 rounds for $9.00 less.
Lol. This posting makes me laugh. I have never had a problem getting 22LR the last 2 years. You just have to be fast, and react when there is a deal. It's sad that real shooters, who have to work, need to hunt down such a common, yet scarce caliber. It will be interesting to see when, if ever, this 22 shortage ends.
As for this deal.......pass.
I'm guessing this is only a deal because it's in stock... how low we've fallen.
Best of all it is made in Mexico, Cost more than CCI Mini Mags made in America
Well that's logical since imported things usually have importation costs associated with them.
The cost to import something is usually *heavily* offset by the cost of manufacturing.. Average pay in Mexico is about $5/DAY.
It doesn't help that CCI is a mystery these days. Their ammo has been virtually nonexistent since summer 2012 but apparently they've been making as much as they can. Not surprising that these low quality ammos at inflated prices have cropped up in the various calibers.
CCI has been the most consistently available of 22 ammo at a wide variety of sellers all year. I'm not following your logic. Cabela's has had minimags on this site every day for 3 weeks. I got 10 packs form Gander last week. Natches and Midway have had them recently. Even my local gun store has gotten cases lately. In fact he turned down on offer for 900 bricks of CCI Quiet. Very few retailers get pallets of any ammo on any regular basis, or they got that pallet and it was their annual order. The only difference is that pallet now sells out in a day instead of 6 months.
no, actually it becomes available all the time on midwayusa if you sign up for email alerts = I buy occasionally when I can for approx .08 round for stingers plus sh. you have to jump on the computer as soon as you get the alert though, and still may not get it. CCI stingers yesterday actually, and I bought 3 boxes of the bulk cci stinger last week, was delivered yesterday for $78 / 900 rounds,
wal-mart gets it in occasionally. and frequently the remiington golden bullet as well, but you have to be there early before 7 when it is stocked- freakin fleamarket sellers buy it up and offer it for sale at 3x the price they pay for it
I'm already aware of what you're referring to. I have the email notifications setup for the mini mags at various online retailers and spot check with local retailers. What we're seeing are the scraps that occasionally show up, nothing that would account for the record production of the ammo that is claimed by the manufacturer. The amount that retailers (local or online) is able to get in is miniscule compared to prior to summer 2012. The difference being the ability to get in pallets regularly to only cases occasionally.
i bought the highh velocity remington at midway for 37 a brick if you buy a magazine or other ammo shipping really isnt that bad if you load up
Nothing to see here - move along.
