I will never purchase from sportsmansguide ever again after they canceled my backordered ammo! Sportsman's will usually only get one product for the whole year to fish for new customers to buy their worthless membership! Then they will again go fishing and offer others a free membership after you pay for yours about a month later! Fck sportsmansguide! They have rude employee's to top their rip off scams they post everyday.

I'm amazed you got to speak to an actual employee there. Their customer service phone lines have been shut off for months. Yes, this company sucks.

Just grabbed this pistol from them for $426.00 shipped (with the membership I already have and use for a shit ton of shopping over the year) and it shipped out next day and was delivered in 2 days.

Just took it out yesterday and not a single problem with this pistol, shot great and accuracy was as good as any 1911 that costs 2 or 3 times as much.

Another successful and quality purchase for a good price from SG.

I understand people don't like this company because of the backordering shenanigans. My advice? Just don't backorder from them. If it says 'In-stock' when you purchase, you are good to go.

That's a lie, I ordered in stock items from them, only to be sent an email after the transaction took place that the items were in fact NOT in stock. They jerked me around on the items for 6 months till I just canceled. Never again, not worth the time, hassle and potential risk. I read the bad reviews, and didn't listen. Boy was I wrong.

$426.77 shipped for me with membership and coupon code 'GUNSNGEAR.' Not too bad a deal on a 1911 built in Italy instead of southeast Asia.

People piss and moan about their membership but honestly those same people probably spend $50 a year on way dumber stuff than a sporting-goods store membership and if you buy a lot of guns, ammo, sporting-goods etc. every year, it more than pays for itself especially considering you get free shipping on ammo regardless of quantity.

Think about it!
