I ordered one at $599. With the additional 3 Magpul mags I got and one steel mag, also an additional muzzle brake, it's definitely worth it.

Yeah. It will b great to see ak's drop back down in price like ar's have. I'd buy 5 or 6 like I have ar's this year. Wish ak parts kits would drop In price also. Would love to build some but at the prices they r at now it's not worth it. Only bought 2 ak's this year. One was an IO that is a great gun except da#n cantid sites. I mean what the he**. I also bought a riley defense at a good price for the market at the moment. Wood furniture. Awesome ak for 525$. I was really suprised when I received it along with a drum and half dozen mags. I'd stock up on ar and wait and ak prices will drop hopefully

Yup, bought a few of these for around $379-$399 a few years back. Slapped on the $70 CA brace. $436 w/brace, then I am another buyer. Majority of these need the krink bell brake to cycle when need. When worn in, any brake will work. $436

The biggest takeaway from this posted price (thanks), is the price decline from just a few months ago ($650). It will go further as us AK guys are buying VEPRs right now to sure up the collection! Plus the Draco's will be further flooding the market to replace the Russian ak loss, from Romania.

Anyone know where to get VEPR 30-06 mags? Need to call CSSpec....

Agreed. I saw the full size rifle for 439 recently. Going to pass until prices drop.

Still about $100 above the 2013-14 prices. Without the brace these were $399.

With 5 magazines if I remember correctly...

If anyone buys this at this price let us know so we can come over and slap some sense into you b/c you are a retard for paying this price. $399+$100(brace)+$20(brake)=$520 (plus the joy of being mechanically inclined and working on your own shit). Yes $20 brake at Prepper gun shop.

Bought two of these few years back (yes during the libtard gun panic) for $399 (one for each hand) and I like these far better than my micro & mini Draco's.

This price is for the people that don't know better and are nothing but "marks".

Preach it! This is like buying a $20 dollar set of brake pads and doing the work yourself and some know-it-all idiot comes and saying they just got a better deal on a $300 brake job which takes 20 minutes. But what can I say.....the shop also gave him a free "automatic transmission flush" on his 5-speed so he might be the true business tycoon afterall

Your continued stalking of myself, plus the obsessive overuse of text, coupled with a subconscious use of anatomy "butt sore" all support my concern that you have gone down a dark path of compulsive obsession with me. Which, you have left evident here for all to see. Look, I'm sure you are just a sweet troll concerned with my firearm purchases, but just let it go, okay, I'm spoken for. Peace
PPS You have assumed again: sex, age & gender orientation, pshaw!

Um, yeah. Pay attention. I didn't purchase from gun prime. Gun prime isn't doing the mods, century is. Remember the dangers of ASSuming? Anyways, brevity is the soul of wit. From your latest run on diatribe, it is obvious you are neither brief or witty. Your eager anticipation to receive a comment notification & reply to one of my posts is charming. Your infatuation with me is endearing. But, I already have a significant other. Maybe you should flirt with someone else.

Sorry you are butt-sore about getting overcharged on the gun. Yes you never directly stated you bought this gun from gun prime but being this is a link to a gun prime deal it would stand to reason you purchased the firearm from them as you are so freaking defensive about it. How can you swear up and down about the contents of THIS DEAL and your magical phone call if you ordered this from another retailer? That is a whole lot of ass(hurt)uming if you ask me. All of my points about whomever (except the warranty issue) still apply regardless of who sells the gun. Far few companies (especially Century) are going to include more than they are advertising. That cuts into their profit margin.

Look kid, like I stated before I hope you get what you think you ordered.

P.S. your copy and pasted Latin, the clichéd words like "diatribe," etc make you sound like a character from Kevin Smith movie not a person with an actual point to convey. You are more worried about how you sound than what you say which speaks volumes about you as a person. I am surprised you made it this far without saying "Ad hominem"....oops did I steal your next post?

I never assume. You have assumed I've assumed. It seems that you may be confused as to the definition of "assume". Here's a link to better educate yourself upon the meaning of assume....http://www.dictionary.com/browse/assume. If I may, " to take for granted w/out proof" which I did not. My awareness about descriptions is very keen. Hence, the phone call to confirm. Again, your use of "assume" when it comes to stock photos is further proof of your ignorance or illiteracy as the site I referenced the completed firearm photo to also contains a footnote that the photo may not be representative of the firearm. Again, my shallow friend, the reason for the phone call. Customer service has been nothing but exemplary from this dealer over the last decade or so of many firearm purchases made. Also due diligence has been made on my part as far as research. I will get what I wanted. Quid vis ut faciam.

BTW adding a muzzle brake to this firearm entails the: 1) removal of existing thread protector that is spot welded to barrel; 2) installation of of detent for new muzzle brake. I'm glad you have time in your busy schedule to do this. I'm also aware that your busy schedule allows you to overtly express your unwarranted opinions of which you do not educate yourself about. Please feel free to continue. This is like shooting fish in a barrel. I look forward to your insipid reply.

Wow...insults. The dull weapon of the mediocre.

I know exactly how to add a muzzle break to this gun as I did it myself a year or so ago. Step 1, take hand-file (or dremel if you are high speed) and break free the smallest spot weld in the history of mankind. Step 2, take the “detent” (piece of metal and spring) insert it into hole. Step 3, (this might lose you) screw on muzzle break. And BAM! You saved a Benjamin. I would be happy to install the brake on your new M92 when you have to order it separately.

Ever wonder why Gunprime takes a current Century Arms item then spends the time and expense of adding a muzzle brake to a gun but fails to call it out in the photo? Or by changing the model number? Or the fact they neglect to list the alteration in the description?!? Does that make any sense to you? Where is their ROI? Or how Century Arms could reject a warranty claim due to the “modification” of the firearm. (not likely but possible) To make matters worse adding a “brake” also would limit the number of potential customers Gunprime could ship to as well and might cause a misunderstanding if this non-pined brake gets sent to a state were a “permanent” thread protector is required. But you spoke to a single customer service agent….and we all know no one has ever been steered wrong by a uniformed person on the other end of a phone line. You sir are 100 percent safe!

Century Arms HG3089C-N is a kit. It includes the arm brace and Krinkov muzzle brake installed on the Zastava PAP M92, plus 2 30rd mags. Picture above has the 26mm thread protector. The brace and brake add about $120 to price. Bud's has it for $657 ( Bud's Item Number: 719004428 ).

Every photo I can find online is with the plain jane thread protector when searching for "HG3089C-N" so it would be (in my opinion) foolish to assume this includes at krink style brake. This is a $400 gun, with a (allegedly installed) $20 brake, and a $80 brace. My math doesn't add up to $690 worth of stuff here.

Your opinion that it is "foolish to assume" may be correct. That's why I don't depend on "every photo I can find online" to determine the features of any given firearm. I provided you a dealer and an item # that if, during your extensive "photo I can find" search you had looked in the DESCRIPTION, you would have clearly seen it lists the muzzle break. Further, if during your exhaustive internet picture show, you had lifted up a T E L E P H O N E and confirmed such features, as I have, you would find that it does indeed include the Krinkov brake. Maybe it is a few shekels rich for your blood. But, I'm out the door w/ this firearm, that I won't have to modify. And while you are saving up and waiting to shave a few dollars off a given price, I'll be shooting! Vive vitam ad plenum

So you assumed it came with a krink style brake and called the dealer to confirm this was the case even if there was absolutely zero mention of it? Talking about assuming things.... Not sure if you are aware but most if these descriptions are written by people who have no idea about guns so a "brake" and a "thread protector" could easily get confused. Hell, I know people from the Army that still call a magazine a "clip." You are also assuming this part number happens to be a different item that sold online everywhere else using that exact part number. As well as assuming this stock photo is WRONG. I REALLY hope you get what you think you ordered but if not I imagine you will have quite a difficult time arguing with customer service when the gun you ordered looks exactly like the photo representing it....not what you hoped it looked like. Caveat emptor

BTW, adding a muzzle brake and a significant brace are a 5 minute install each, plus require no special tools (or skills). I can get away from my busy schedule to take 10 minutes to save $200 but you obviously have more important things to do and I respect that.

Remember when these were $489 with the brace at JG with like 3 or 5 mags? Or was it Atlantic? $399 is my buy price w/o the brace.

Yeah, I do remember that. About two years ago, J&G Sales and Centerfire Systems were selling them (without the brace) for $399. I bought one from each of them.

Not sure why these are so expensive now. The price of almost everything else has been dropping since the election.
