this is my POS from cai. its my beater ak...but for 350 it surprised the hell out me. couple thousand rds, loaned the bolt to friend (FPR broke in his romny), its heavy and the stock is uncomfortable. so far, so good.
still looking for the holy grail, the Poly Tech LEGEND AK-47/S.
mr.ski and the ak63d,
Never thought I'd see the day when on average budget AK's cost more than budget line AR's
Can anyone tell me if there is a company out there that makes a really nice milled AK?
$400 is about the current price point of this P.O.S based off of durability tests by AKOU. Century just can’t make a good AK no matter how hard they try.
Add $120 for a new mount that wont fit other rifles. fail.
These guns can be bought with a chicken in somali, I don’t see how any ak is worth over $400.
This is not your average trashcan gun, as it is built on a milled receiver. Therefore, they command a premium value here in America, and even a premium chicken in Somalia.
if you are in the market for anything that even looks like an ak you need to see rob ski torture test it on youtube. he has a bit more evidence of good vs bad compared to the average comment poster
One of the worst AKs you can buy but yet people still pay this much for them
I can’t even believe these are still being made. What a colossal POS.
Based on AK Operators Union videos on I would not waste ur money until CAI makes better strides on quality. JizzzzUNK
I purchased this rifle from preppers ~ 2 years ago.
Preppers has the fastest shipping I've ever seen. They're awesome.
Regarding the rifle - it's awesome. I've put ~ 1.5k rounds through it, and it's frankly great. When I first bought it, I actually posted the deal and got ridiculed for posting something with "soft metals". I looked and looked and looked (and asked for someone to tell me what inferior metals were used), and never got a great answer.
Look at all of the very positive reviews online from people who have used this rifle. Overall, I think it's very good. It's been a pleasure to shoot.
More money than a wasr but half the rifle. People see milled and think "great quality" but milled or not if you use soft steel it's going to be junk. Buy a wasr, inspect for canted sights, and shoot thousands of rounds though it without a worry. Or buy this junk and cry when it loses headspace right away
Anybody have any experience with this rifle or gun shop?
Some day people will learn a milled gun with soft steel is of no advantage to a stamped gun of properly hardened steel. A wasr will last 10x what this rifle will, and it has been proven time and again
Sounds like a good deal for a milled gun, i paid almost that ($600) for a WASR last year.
I've never "saw" a class 3 ffl....
Poor grammar kind of negates his attempt at being clever.
That's the cheapest price ive ever saw on a hand grenade. These guns detonate so fast in surprised you don't need a class 3 ffl to buy one
I'll go down to century arms and smash one of them In the face if that happens.
I think it's pronounced Garbage' with the accent on the e in france.
Npaps were $530 just a few days ago and any combloc weapon is far superior to this junk. It's not as bad as the tRASh47 but close.
This is way over priced. PSA AKs are cheaper. I seen WASR and NPAP in ththe last few weeks for less than $650. I don't think a simple mount warrants a price tag at $700.
Just wait until the cast carrier breaks into pieces causes the dust cover to smash you in the face
Deal expired almost a year ago it should b off the site by now wtf
