$326 w/ free shipping after being on the market for less than 3 months. Definitely thinking this bad boy will be hitting the magic $299 by the end of the year!

I was really liking this TP9SA. Very cool gun and looks solid with nice ergos. Some reviews are great, but then I watched one review that really sunk in about the critical flaw of this gun compared to it's forefather TP9. I have to admit it is a fatal flaw for a self defense gun to have. I agree with the following reviewer that it exists probably because the manufacturer wasn't willing to go another step in the redevelopment of the gun because of costs. So anyway, it sounds like a great affordable range gun, but not necessarily the best defensive gun to rely on unless you are one that never accidentally changes the channel with the controller, or fat fingers any typing, or bumps into things by accident. You see, if you hit the decocker on this gun at any time then you have totally disabled it. See this review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I2TJh--Oztk...

There's a tutorial on ar15.dom on how to disable the decocker with ease. So that's an easy fix

Oh yes, some fellow Americans reminded me that this is a Turkish gun, and Turkey isn't exactly front and center in fighting the ISIS terrorists in Syria and Iraq, watching the Kurds battle ISIS in Kobani just a stones throw from their border without any support and not contributing to any action against ISIS in any manner and otherwise being a conduit for radical islamic jihadists to cross into Syria and join in the massacres of kurds and christians. Thanks for being a worthless NATO ally Turkey. Another reason not to buy this gun. Thanks for pointing that out.

Remington has imported Russian made guns (SPR210 & SPR 453). Too, besides pistols and walnut, Turkey has manufactured guns for Smith & Wesson, Weatherby, Benelli, Charles Daly, Kimber, and some others. For many the decision to purchase a firearm is based upon price rather than the luxury of politics. I know of men carrying well-used Mosins, Mossbergs, and Hi-Points to protect and feed their families in a time of $5/lb hamburger.

You have a point. I just bought some Tula ammo myself and I don't much appreciate the Russians and their leader Putin doing the things they are doing. So shame on me. And don't get me wrong, I love high value firearms and would love to buy American or from strong U.S. allies. But, Turkey is supposedly a Nato member, but they might as well be Honduras or Thailand when it comes to assistance in the Middle east and Iraq in particular. Hard to believe you can sit on the sidelines as a "allied" nation and not be more active in the ISIS situation... Shame on them and probably a good reason to consider boycotting their imports for a while?

Being a proud American is nothing of which to be ashamed. What is a shame is American and corporate leadership that encourages or leaves no other option than to buy imports. Another shame is the countries we spent billions helping to train and equip not doing a thing to prevent the spread of ISIS turning around and begging us to do their fighting for them.
I believe us both good patriots. Let us pray for better leadership and may God Bless the USA!

Solid value for a high-capacity full-size pistol. If you need something now for a good value, by all means indulge. If you can wait, I'm with the others that think this may eventually dip to just under $300 by the end of the year. When that happens, I'm definitely in.
