Nice looking AK. The walnut furniture makes a huge difference but I've seen some videos that are making me think twice about this. I might pay more and go with a N-PAP or Yugo M70.

The walnut furniture alone has to be worth at least $25.

Great looking weapon. I'm going to buy them for my security company. We specialize in guarding piles of used tires and discarded Christmas trees.

Last time I was ambushed by tires and Christmas trees I raked them with an M 16...I'll let you know how this works out!!!

Aren't you the same douche bag that said he would buy these for his "security company" based on how it looked? No worry about FUNCTION where lives are on the line...

I've been in the security industry for 23 years, I am an executive license holder and a certified instructor. Who the hell carries AK47'S in a security company?. If you do, you need your head checked.....those people are the type who shouldn't be doing security in the first place. Duty weapons acceptable, AK47 is a ridiculous joke.

I would HIGHLY recommend against that. they may look nice, but they're SHIT construction. watch the videos Robski and several others have done on these pot metal guns. they fall apart in under 3,000 rounds. pure trash. Get a WASR 10 or an N-Pap instead. real com-bloc guns for around the same price... the RAS47 is the second worst AK on the market next to the IO guns

This guy is just a troll. Take a look at his other posts. He must be working for Century...

more expensive than the WASR 10 right now at several places... fuck that shit. Com bloc rifle vs. piece of century trash. not even a choice

C39 deformed after only 600 rounds in AKOUs testing. My wasr looks brand new inside after 700 or so rounds and my wasr cost less.

The Ras47 did not survive the 5,000 test and I doubt the c39 will either.

A wasr is in the same price range as this ras. Why would you buy an ak that is 1/4 of the quality when the wasr is pretty much the same price? I could see if the ras was $300 cheaper but buying one at this price is crazy

Ditto. You are getting a 2 day old Taco Bell bean burrito for the price of a hot steak dinner. I just don't see how people make such poor decisions....then they become belligerent when someone points out documented flaws.

My RAS47 has pretty good accuracy with wolf HP and FMJ. Very consistent with that ammo. More accurate than all I have seen in its AKM price segment. After 1,500 rounds through it it functions fine like it did from day one. Most people trashing RAS47 are the same that trash talk Hi-point. They are fine for their price point and they are both far from high end. RAS47 is American made low end AKM and its achilles heel is high round count durability(cleaning it frequently after each use can help with durability). I love my Arsenal AKM and the finish on my Arsenal is excellent. Everything has a price and the RAS47 is fine for its low price(disposable AKs). Just don't expect for it to make it to the same round count as an Arsenal before it's shot out. On a side note: the left to right wobble of my combloc AKMs are actually worse than with my RAS47. My sample set is one though, maybe I got the only good RAS47?

I love the C39. It's my go to AK and I really enjoy shooting it. I think you will find good and bad reviews on pretty much everything so stick with those you trust. I was on the fense about it but Nutnfancy put me over the edge and glad I pulled trigger. He's kind of a strange cat but knows his firearms and is unbiased. Also, I would stick with recent reviews as the rifle has changed a bit as has the manufacturing process. Granted I have not put 10k rounds through it underwater. But if I had the time/money to out 10k rounds through it in 3 months underwater I would not be shopping on this site;). I do have around 1500 rounds through it and it's been perfect. Only negitive I have is its a bit on the heavy side compared to my other AK's. I would say it's worth your time looking into. Go find one at a range and shoot it. That's what I did as well. The one I shot has been at the range since I was became a member. Looks like shit ran ovwr from being rented but I enjoyed shooting so picked one up.

How do you guys feel about the c39v2 ?

We don't. Just by a new WASR, converted Saiga, used Arsenal or VEPR, or any of the reputable build kits from Atlantic using proven combloc parts. Century, DDI/PSA, and IO have all had issues with soft metal, critical part failures, and even worse. The AK's not an American gun ... so don't buy an American AK.
