Fun range gun for $150 till the novelty wears off. I'd rather sink the cash into a better gun for this price.
If I were guaranteed a peach I might drop 300 for a range toy / wall hanger and 350 for an unissued one. Then again maybe not.

Don't call it the garbage rod for nothing.

Cue the pissing contest of people bragging about how cheap they got theirs. You paid $100? Foolish, I saw these for $25 in a barrel by the front door at Farm & Fleet in the 1960's. Me? I didn't pay anything; I was issued one for free by the Czar before the Prussians stormed my village.

Laughed my ass off at this!

By the way, everyone ordering today are SUCKERS. I got mine for $359 on August 29th!

Lol. Sucker's buy this at this cost. Get a savage. Thank me later. Just putting a scope on this is blasphemy to these fools. Get a 7mm rem mag and put a 32 power scope on it and be done with it. I know I'll get hate but a stainless savage will outlast this no problem.

I did not know you had a 1906 stainless steel Savage rifle. Most impressive.

This price seems high to anyone who has been around long enough to remember when these were bought easily for $80-$100. But supply is drying up and almost gone, especially for "excellent" grade such as these. Once their gone, their gone... so really this isnt a bad deal. A rifle that will outlast just about any modern rifle these days...
