Shitty American AKs? So have you owned, or even tested this ak? Because what I have learned over a long time of owning and selling firearms (both domestic & import) is that what country it originates doesn't really matter much anymore, as pertaining to quality. It is more about the process of heat treatment, quality of shaping (milling, stamped, casting, or forging), and treatment/plating (calcium, melonite, nickle-boron). But yeah, wanna spend an extra $400 for the name to brag about, by all means go ahead.
I know its personal preference but why not for the price make these American AKs with the same features as the current russian models such as lugs and folding stock rear trunnions?
