Are you drunk?!? Some of Trumps biggest backers are banks and financial groups.

You must be one of those people who still claim he is a "self funded candidate."

Cabela's $8.99 is consistent with Midway's price change. $7.99 is the Wallyworld and a very small handful of online retailers but that's the bargain rate. Is it a fair price? I would argue yes for 2 reasons.
1) There are very few items right now with this high of a demand and anyone that ever took an economics class will tell you that's the way things work. I don't know exactly what the cost to Cabela's is but I would guess there is not a lot of profit in 22's especially when you consider they ship to store for free which includes pulling the item from the distribution center, bubble wrapping and shipping boxes, labeling, handling, then they have to pay people at customer service to get this for you.
2) Here's an interesting argument. At $8.99 or maybe even $9.99 that would deter the guys who buy this and resell at $12.99 or $13.99 and leave more for us to buy.
With any luck after this upcoming election many fears will be eased about the future of guns and ammo. Sales will ease up and prices will hopefully fall a bit.

22lr will come down in prices as long as idiots and hoarders stop being stupid. I think we just have a lot of stupid people out there and a lot of new gun owners (which is always a good thing). I myself I guess have been guilty of hoarding not 22lr but 556, 308 762x39 I probably have over 40,000 rounds. but when you have a lot of disposable income and WHEN I SEE a REAL deal, I BUY. That's why I don't have a single 22LR round no deals. Save your money and self esteem folks and stop buying 22lr get familiar with the other rounds
out there.

40,000 rounds and your bitching about hoarders? Fuck I hate people!

Saw a lot of comments about the price of .22LR and for good reason. Have you guys heard about the new BPR ammo being made for Browning by Winchester? I don't know how the quality will compare to existing Winchester ammo or how it will compare to CCI. What I do know is that I was able to pre-order a large quantity of .22LR in FMJ and HP and will be selling it for less than current pricing. I am waiting to hear when it will start shipping.

Folks, 22LR is NOT coming down in price. People want more money for what they do, just like you do. Bills go up, so products and services go up in price. It's a vicious cycle/circle. Get over your precious $.06-.07 a round bull squeeze! It ain't coming back! You buy the most expensive house you think you can afford, you buy the most expensive cars/trucks you can afford, then you send your kids off to a hidious public school system. Your out there buying stuff you don't need with money you don't have to impress people you dont know! You buy a life style! An image! Then you want to bitch about ammo prices??? Get over yourselves!!! It's buy or shut up, f--k or walk! Go paint your house or something..

Do you know this guy? You sound like a dumbass. Yes prices go up till they stop selling then like we see with S&W the rebates start then the prices fall. Open your eyes how many times you seen housing go up then fall? But really just go fuck yourself.

Lol, I love it!

....but but but, if people would just stop buying it they would lower the price to FREE!

You mean my mall ninja tactical rugger 10/22 with the Chinese site, laser and bayonet won’t dominate the battlefield. But my mom says I am the toughest 40 yr she knows. I think my bunker (e.g. mom’s basement) would be secure. Now all I need is my 30,000 rounds of 22lr and to find some xxxxxxl body armor and an armored rascal and I will be ready to rock the apocalypse.

Don't forget once the Economy fully crashes due to the impending apocalypse, .22 will be the new currency.. You want a loaf of bread? That'll be 325 rounds

You people shooting 22LR, please keep shooting 22LR and stay away from the other calibers. The other calibers don't have hoarding idiots on the same level, and you bitch, wine, moan and groan about $.08-.12 a pull! Give me a freakin brake! Buy a man's caliber and see what that costs ya! And 22 is NOT a SHTF caliber haha... If 22LR was a SHTF caliber, then the military would be using it!!!! i can shoot out to 600 yards with my sticks, and a 1,100 yards two others. You cant do that with 22 haha

Rick. A lot of that so called man's caliber are priced higher. Those people go out and buy a conversion kit in 22 LR because they can not afford to shoot it. They want to say they have a big gun and can not afford to shoot 300 rounds of big caliber rounds at the range. Just like buying a big Cadillac and putting a 4 cylinder engine in it because they can not afford the gas. 22 LR guns only can shoot 22 lr So buy your caliber you have for the guns you own. I shoot 9 mm 38 spl, 223 but not every time.I own a lot of 22 LR Guns Fun to shoot all day . People train with 22 LR also why you going to waste the big ammo on a paper target. That does not make any sense to me anyway.

NOT A DEAL.

I thought this website was for firearm & related deals, my misunderstanding I suppose.

With .22 it is hit or miss. A lot of times whatever is in stock gets posted no matter the price. I think they should have a seperate section for "In stock .22"

If your really needing to purchase at this price, at least know what your getting.

When I checked, it was not CCI 36gr hollow point.
It was CCI 40 grain gilded lead round nose (i.e. jacketed solid bullet).

CCI' mfg number for HP is #31
Bottom of Cabela's page shows this as mfg #30

Sop feeding the madness. theses prices for 22lr are so crazy. there are other deals on other calibers 20 cents for brass 9mm and 26 cents for .45acp
my 22lr will continue to collect dust while my other guns get some extra attention
its got to the point people are just being stupid to continue to buy at this price. please stop for your own self esteem.

The $7.99 is for Gander Mtn. $8.99 has been the usual Cabelas price for a while now. Even though it's only a dollar difference I stick with Gander Mountain.

Do you really not know the difference between bulk .22 and CCI .22? Don't buy it then. This is not the same as cheap .22LR ammo.

Looks like a deal to me. Please point me to CCI packs that are less than this and I'll buy some.

GREAT TRICK - Ya its great for the GREEDY and screw over the needy if they don't know about this so when they go to order a box and its sold out, But if you are dumb enough to spend $8.49 for 100 rounds plus shipping then go for it. I know a place that sells 22lr for under 3 bucks a box and 22Mag for under 10 bucks a box but wont list it here.

If the needy are hunting ammo online then they should've found this site by now. I've heard mention on various chat rooms, gun forums and YouTube. It even shows up as an option when you google places for ammo deals. With that being said you don't have to register here to read the deals and comments. So the needy has the exact same opportunity as the "greedy". I hope you enjoy you little honey hole where you get boxes for about $3.00. Welcome to the club of greed. Thats what it is when you don't want share right?

22 LR selling for under $3.00 box is 50 round boxes. 2 years hunting ammo and there was never 22 lr 100 round any brand box selling for $3.00 . I look at a lot of places and know the prices .of every 22 lr brand and what every retailer is selling them for

I find it amusing when people compare these CCI .22LR rounds to bulk-pack ammo. These are certainly not premium rounds, but they are a whole heck of a lot better in quality and reliability than the bulk packs. If people don't realize that, it's fine with me--I'll just more more.

There are actually little tricks that allow you to order as many as you want. For instance, try this:

-Make sure your cabelas cart is empty. then click this link and add one to cart:

http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shooting/Ammunition/Rimfire-Ammunition%7C/pc/104792580/c/104691780/sc/104536080/CCI-22-Rimfire-Ammunition/705571.uts...

Then click on this link and you can change the quantity for as many as you want to your cart:

http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shooting/Ammunition/Rimfire-Ammunition%7C/pc/104792580/c/104691780/sc/104536080/CCI-RIMFIRE-AMMUNITION/911592.uts...

If you mess around with the quantities it can mess it up and force you into only 2 boxes, but no worries--just empty your cart and start over.

Don't forget to get enough to use cabela's bucks to get the price down or you can use a shipping coupon code.
