Finally was able to purchase a Safari 36 after a month of waiting. Good safe for the money BUT:
1) no longer black; ugly grey now 2) now made smaller, current size is 55x36x20, not a whole lot,
But smaller than floor model! 3) be sure and inspect by removing cardboard sleeve before purchasing.
The first one wheeled out had a broken lever, though I was told on the phone that the store (Dunhams)
Only received one on the truck; the employees found another one with a good lever. (????). It does have 4 holes for floor mounting and a hole in the back, low center, for an electric cord. The interior door organizer is nice. Note: Cannon warranty on this Safari series only good for 1 year. Not lifetime like higher end Cannon safes. Be ready for a rain check and a good wait, just be patient and ask what day of the week their delivery truck arrives, then call each week. Seems like Dunhams has safes on sale all the time. Just don't have a good supply in stock when needed. The employees are very helpful with loading.
Only regret is the grey paint. I just like the black better. As stated earlier, for the money, the 22.9 cubic ft
(outside dimensions) is not bad. I also like the interior hinges!
