"Canned Heat" is a name Fiocchi uses for their sealed cans of ammo. Why does this show just two GI ammo cans?

It says right on the Georgia Arms site on their FAQ...

"Canned Heat is bulk packaged ammunition in military surplus can"

There should be a license to use the web

You miss the point. Try Googling "Trademark Infringement", Smartass.

I'm not even suggesting that Georgia Arms infringed, but may that Fiocchi infringed on Georgia Arms.

Whether there is a legal trademark in place or not, they should know better than to use the same name. That's my whole point. Screw Google!

ROFLMAO... I'm definitely sure that I'm not paying for #4 from any company.

Alright, you're AVM I used to work with right? Always sending me to the urban dictionary to know what the H you're talking about? (LOL! I'd never find that one on gun.deals!)

Well hell... you didn't mention anything about trademark infringement in your origiinal post. I'm not a mind reader... if I was, I sure wouldn't be sitting here on the computer! :o)

I apologize for assuming that your vaguely caveman-like statement came from a caveman-like dude sitting at a keyboard. Obviously, knowing a word like "Trademark Infringement" moves you to a minimum of Cro-magnon intelligence.

However, I did use Google for it's intended use of answering questions. It appears that Fiocchi started their line of "canned heat" ammo back in 2011. There's no TM following that phrase on their site so I doubt it is trademarked.

People have been posting about Georgia Arms "Canned Heat" since at least 2003, so Fiocchi appears to have stole the name from them.

Although maybe they both stole it from the band that used the name back in 1965.

Cro-Magnon... that's funny. If you only knew... I hold Navy credentials in addictions counseling, nuclear power and computer network security, as well as an MBA, a BS in network security and other private sector credentials in network security and management.

Yeah, I know--if you're Navy or a vet, the nuke thing explains a lot...

I'm not... but I'm friends with a few guys that took one too many cruises in nuclear subs. IT directors and engineers and other densely educated occupations... but all really damn weird in some way or another.

At least I know who to call if I run into a crack-addicted nuclear reactor technician who thinks his control system is being infiltrated by terrorists. Nice resume... LOL
