The only good thing about most of those rifles is the lower prices than those in the US....Read the reviews at the cabellas Canada site......Most of them are garbage rifles( parts missing, stocks rotted, rifles blowing apart when fired, no matching numbers etc.) Do yourself a favor.....LET the Canuck have em !!!

Pissed that we can't import these guns from China anymore? Thank silly Billy Clinton and the democraps. That traitor enacted that shit in 1994.

It was due to the fact that PolyTech was illegally importing machine guns.

Lol to be fair it was because the Chinese were caught smuggling automatics and rocket launchers to sell to gangs in the sf Bay Area. Good for them to make money and cause conflict in their enemies country, us. I have a Type 56 but f giving money to the enemy. Even though I want their cheap bullpupy and stuff

Canada sucks. Period. We could easily take their land if need be. It’s best to keep them there so when we do shoot nukes down from russia they fall there

It's a DAMN SHAME what the dealers here in US are charging for surplus and LE police trade in firearms . They buy them for less than
what the "Average Joe " gets when he tries to pawn a gun at a pawn shop.......Last SKS I bought with my FFL 15 years ago was $59.95 from SOG and in like new condition...... purchased Mosin Nagants model 27 for $29.95 .....People here in US are Crazy now and buy anything at any price.......prices are dropping fellas.....do not jump too fast to purchase and watch for Black Friday !!!!

Don't be retarded. The days of cheap sks's is gone. Same can even be said for mosins.

fgmx has a good point tho': for the same money or just a little more you can get a modern production rifle w/ superior accuracy and/or a warranty, etc. Don't fall for Classic Firearms hucksterism and overpriced surplus. Yes, the heyday of cheap surplus firearms may be behind us, but we're in the middle of a boom in cheap MSRs! Spend your hard-earned ducats on *those* while you can!

Those days may surely be gone.....but who in their right mind should pay over $300 or more for a mosin nagant......in poor condition ????
When the time comes , I want to use a modern made rifle when shit hits the fan....not some ancient relic......

What hurts even more is that this is like $173 USD. Meanwhile we're scrounging over beat up rifles that fought in two continents for $400.

Since when do we post deals for Canadians only? We may be at war with the Canadians one day! When we invade Greenland we could go ahead and take the eastern part of Canada while we're at it. We don't want them getting any other weapons.

Let them enjoy. It is the best what you can get there and even this one only with mag limited to 5 rounds. But you can imagine what markup retailers in US have selling "X" grade for 299$ when in Canada perfect rifle is for 229$ retail. Remember fat classic guy was saying he is selling them for loss (349$). I could not stop crying...

Canadians can even get Russian sks's with new wood laminate stocks for like $300. Flipping shame.
