I own one of these and have gifted a number to new rifle shooters in the family when they come of age. They've all held up quite well over the years. These get down to $79 now and then.

They are more rigid and durable than Plano's 'All Weather' series, but less rigid than a Pelican or Storm case of similar type.

Internally, less fancy than either the Plano AW series or Pelicans with simple egg-crate foam on bottom and fixed foam (no pluck-and-pull type) on the top.

These are wide enough for bolt action with scope, or an AR with a lower-profile optic (or RDS) with a bit of angling. That said, tall turrets on both sides of an optic may be problematic in getting the case closed. It is not very 'deep'.
