Anyone have thoughts on how these compare to Pelican?
Very similar to a pelican case but a little heavier and the fit and finish is not as nice. I have this case and it’s a nice case but it’s not quite a pelican case
Very happy with this case. This case is lighter than the Pelican because it has thinner plastic shell. Imo the case provides more than enough protection for my rifle.
I have both this and the pelican case like this and no it’s NOT lighter and not built anywhere near as good. I tried to return it but waited to long.

I was wondering the same thing. Also, how good is the combo with the Cabelas soft case? Would I be better off getting just the hard case and then a Blackhawk Sportster Modular Weapons Case instead? Would this combo allow me to carry a scoped AR and another scoped upper?
Strange. It lists it at $59.99, but when you go to the page on Cabelas - it's 69.99. Did they raise the price since posted? *EDIT Never mind. I'd like to use my $20 off $100 that came in the mail yesterday. Seems that this is $70 then.

If you're not crazy about this, the Plano Gun Guard All Weather case seems like a better deal. Much nicer aesthetics, seems a bit more secure and has pick and pluck foam for a customized fit.
