Why would Bushmaster use an m4 profile stepped down barrel? Almost like they reached into the parts bin. What a joke.

In the civilian market it's a joke but keep in mind this has been submitted to the military on many occasions and the barrel profile is for attaching a grenade launcher.

What a disappointment the ACR platform has been- a missed opportunity. Everything Remington touches turns to garbage.

This seems like a great deal. Why all the down votes?

can it fire with stock folded?

Yes. Barrel is 16" so you can fire it with stock extended or folded & still be legal.

That has nothing to do with its ability to fire with stock folded. He’d asking if its a piston gas system or DI. FYI there are no laws about firing a firearm folded/not folded.
