Jet.com is Walmart..

Don't buy from jet.com. I had a very bad experience with their customer service. I bought a scope from them which never received and had to dispute through my credit card and filed a complaint to the BBB.
I bought this scope from another online store.
The good thing about the scope is it has a permanent black reticles. So if the battery dies, you still can use the scope.
The only downside about the scope is its weight.

Am I able to use this on my c308 or am.?

Garbage. Didn't listen to warnings of canted crosshairs. Sure enough when i got it was canted. Sold on ebay right after. No loss, but i wanted to like it, but with no way to align it right it's never going to be usable if you need to correct windage or drop easily

These are made in China

No shit genius. The majority of Optics even from major corporations are made in China. There's a difference between cheap Chinese knock-off shit, and Chinese stuff that is built to reduce labor cost and material cost, yet still a functional and decent product. In your other comment you said opt out from free returns after you find out you paid too much for this Chinese crap. This is the cheapest I've seen this, out there. I've owned one for eight years and it works phenomenally and is probably my favorite optic out of all that I own and I own quite a few high-end Optics. The Burris 3x and 5X are some of the most widely popular and well made prism sites out there. Your comments are utterly stupid

Is this price really for this scope?

This Product 300208 ..... But product # for rebate is 300177 so I guess this one doesn't come with a FF3.

OVERSTOCK PRICE-Today: $275.95 for the 536
$275.95 is only cheaper than $219.25 if you are very bad at math.

Look on Overstock, they don't charge tax for me. I get a coupon from them everyday for 12-15% off and free shipping if you sign up for there daily emails. That being said, I bought the AR536 (I wanted the 5x magnification) from Jet.com and didn't op for the free returns. My cheapness bit me in the a$$! Literally the day after I ordered it, Overstock had a better deal by $40! Jet.com charged 5% and shipping to return it and I would've only saved $5 by then, so it wasn't worth having to run to UPS to return it.

It's not so much jet.com that is lying but everyone that keeps posting this deal needs to actually do their due diligence and see what the total amounts to before posting this stuff. Jet also charges taxes as far as I know since they were purchased by walmart so this listed price for the deal is pretty far off. That said I purchased one from jet when the rebate first started and got it within two days in great shape.

Jet is the middle man if whoever the seller is has a physical location in your state you will get charged tax, no sales tax for me VA

Appreciate the pic! Seems I am just out of luck being in one of the states that they do charge sales tax so its about $20 more for me no matter what codes I use. Jet does have on what states they charge sales tax now after I looked into it and it seems like its about 50/50 when they have to.

Jet only gives a max of $20 off, not even 10%, let alone 15%. I'll pay more somewhere else not to deal with lying sacks of crap.

Question for those who received the FastFire III. I purchased from Jet and submitted my rebate to Burris last Wednesday and no status update from the rebate tracking site. Is this normal or do I need to call or just wait? thanks!

When did you submit? It took 3 weeks before they acknowledged my submission this time, but once they acknowledged it I received my FF3 within a week. Last time I purchased later in the rebate cycle and it took about six weeks to acknowledge receipt of the rebate, and another two weeks to receive the FF3. Just depends. I've found that if you buy and submit at the beginning of the cycle you get it back super fast. If you submit later, it takes a lot of extra time.

I bought this from Amazon for $255 same day free shipping with prime. The fastfire 3 MIR sold me on it. Nice deal!

It's like 250 bucks.
You have to have a new account or create a new account.
Use discount code TRIPLE15 that will discount scope.

When it arrives, go to www.burrisoptics.com/promotions and print out the rebate form.
Fill it out, include the email with order details and UPC from the scope. Mail it in and 5-8 weeks later they'll mail you the Fastfire 3 s scope.

Anyone know how jet does sales tax? I am finding it impossible to get it at this price "shipped"

What receipt are you guys using? I have the Jet email which reflects the coupon used, then they included what looks like an order confirmation in the box with Walmart.com on it and the price doesn't reflect the coupon used. Which should I send in for the rebate?

0 votes
0 votes

Yup. Viper is correct. A screen grab of your order is sufficient. I did the same thing last time around and had no problems.

I believe I just sent in a copy of my confirmation email from jet. As long as it has your name and the right SKU on it you should be good to go.

I picked this up about 2 weeks ago from Overstock.com for a hair over $250 minus a 12% coupon easily found on the Interwebs making it just pennies cheaper than Jet. Then 4% cashback from Ebates to boot. Not having to deal with Jet - priceless. However just looked, and Overstock's price now sitting at $298, so not a deal at that price.

Doesn't say anything about a free fastfire on the site.

It's a rebate through Burris. When I did this last year, I purchased through Jet, and they honored my rebate.

Thank you for letting me know that.

They do these every six months or so. I've done it twice. As long as it's a new promotion period, you shouldn't have any problems.

Has anyone tried to utilize this rebate more than once? I participated in the rebate last year (submitted in Dec., got the FF3 in January).

I'm really happy with it and would like another set, but I don't want someone denying it saying I already submitted a rebate (especially since the FF3 is really what I want another one of).

Since it's technically a different rebate, different promotional period, that shoulnd't happen... but I'm always leery of rebates.

Well, I bit. Got an additional 3% cashback too.
216 shipped isn't the all time low, but it's a great price.

I have this scope as well as the AR-556. I prefer the AR-332 model by a wide margin. It's a bit lighter, has much better eye relief, and for the type of shooting these scopes are designed for, the extra 2x that the AR-556 offers simply isn't worth the trade-offs, especially give the reticle style.

Do yourself a favor:
Go to botach.com or ebay and look up the GDI R-COM E QD Combat sight mount.
There were a TON of them made for US Army ACOGs, but they're compatible with the Burris AR 332/556. For 39.99, they cost about 1/5th what comparable QD mounts cost, and are absolutely top tier.

The reason that so many people complain their reticle is canted, is that the mounts Burris uses are cheap Chinese-made mounts which have low manufacturing tolerances. (scope itself is made in the Philippines and is good to go.)

Once you rip off the crappy stock scope base, and replace it with something decent, you'll have no more problems.

So all said and done you're looking at:
AR-332 Scope: 222
GDI R-COM Base 40

Its back!

So between 2000 rounds of brass 9mm@ .09 per round and this deal, I'd say I made out like a bandit this year.
