How interesting that it's a "pistol" despite having a full length barrel. I always assumed they had to have no stock AND a barrel less than 16 inches. I wonder how this meshes with gun laws in PA. In Pennsylvania you can't legally have a loaded rifle in a vehicle, even if you have a license to carry. So, while you can carry rifles in public, it's impractical to do so because you can't get into a vehicle with one. I wonder if one of these + a brace circumvents that despite the 18 inch barrel.
