How do these compare to the $400 Zev slides?
Is this really a good deal if you don't have the parts to complete the slide ? thinking about building a g19 for the first time. Can you use a gen 3 slide on a gen 4 frame ?
I've been waiting for this specific product for years! It's too dang expensive to buy a Zev or Wolff already machined with their prefabbed patterns. At $800-$1000 I just couldn't justify it. Perhaps now the brand new Glock lowers direct from the factory for only $169 complete will be worth using for a custom Glock build.
Brownells sells decent slides but I would pass on this — so unrefined. A Spinta in stainless will be likely be cheaper and they look better.
