Looks like a spare parts kit to me. Priced like one too, especially with $10 off $75 coupon.
Strike Industries. "Designed in California"
MADE IN TAIWAN...
This shit's imported garbage.
Brownells let this slip, spread the word before they change the photo. Zoom in, see for yourself
I realize this post is from 8 months ago. But if it relates to the product listed I don't see where the parts are made in Taiwan or by Strike Industries. Click the "Buy at Brownells" button and the first line of the product description states "Made in the USA, mil-spec parts".
So I’ve order from brownells more then I can count and I just noticed today that after I put in the code for free shipping and the discounts the site tried to charge me full price every time it went to the next page. I had to put the code in 4 different times, so I’m wondering how many times I was charged full price for things in the past...I’m a Marine Corp vet of 20 years, if anyone is wondering my creditably...pretty shitty brownells. More then likely it will be my last time ordering from them. Just a heads up for anyone else placing an order with them.
I've been using the Brownell's discount codes quite a bit lately and have had no problem. I have noticed that the final discounted price on the check out page shows the waived shipping costs but has not deducted it from the total shown. But, the charge on my C.C. is always reduced by the shipping amount making the discounted price + free shipping correct . The only thing I dislike is if you use a coupon that includes free shipping they send your order by slow boat. Seriously 7-10 days!
The truth is all the milled spec parts are from Asian countries. Does it matter it was made in Taiwan or China. we cannot made these parts that cheap and that is what the market is asking for.
