Anyone looking for a holster, I can confirm Blackhawk Serpa xd 4in fit's perfect.
PSA has/had those for $20 w/free ship
Suspect most XD holsters should fit.
The Blackhawk pancake XD holster fits as well. Got it from https://www.fieldsupply.com/blackhawk-3-slot-leather-tuckable-pancake-ho...
Let me tell you. This is NOT a good deal. The gun will NOT feed self defense rounds. I tried Hornady XTP and Federal HST. I'm not a gunsmith so I'll try to describe as best I can. The barrel has a 'lot of play' and sits up too high and too far forward. The rounds get jammed every time. Range ammo will feed, but it's not smooth. I have an XDS that performs flawlessly. This was a HUGE disappointment. I just hope SOSS will accept a return.
This isn’t an XDS copy because it’s not a single stack Mr. Gunsmith. Not sure if I trust your opinion if you can’t tell what gun is being cloned here.
This site won't let you modify your previous reviews. So I'll post a new one and let me tell you; This IS a good deal. BRG sent out two new mags, I received them today and the failure to feed issues are gone! It seems to me the new mags are just a little wider at the top front, allowing the round to protrude further and angle upward just a little more and the rounds feed perfectly.
So now I'm really happy with this purchase. I haven't been to the range yet, but It seems to be rock solid and built to last.
I would bet that I could "bend" or "persuade" the original mags a little bit at the top front and they would work too. Who knows?
At any rate, I like it a lot.
Also, thanks to this site for showing lots of good deals!
So tell me exactly how a magazine fixed "The barrel has a 'lot of play' and sits up too high and too far forward."
When the slide is back, the barrel moves around a little more than my xds and m&p. the new mag puts the round up higher and angles upward. Like I said. The rounds from the old mags were nose diving.
So... take a look at the serial number, if it's under 1000, they had a known tolerance issue between the magazine and the gun. If that's the case, reach out to the company and they should send you some new mags that will correct the issue. I found this info in a review here, https://youtu.be/n5kCn8ljPdo at about the 6:25 mark. Hope this is what the problem is for you and it helps. Good luck!
Retailers do not accept returns on used firearms. Sorry dude.
Lifetime warranty. Not soss fault. Contact BRG-USA
Well, the good thing is, your only out $190 if it sucks.
$216.39 total cost for me. Can't beat it. I really like it. The only negative for me is the slightly gritty trigger. I should be able to fix that though.
Damn with free shipping this is probably the best deal out there on budget pistols. I've ran about 500 rounds thru mine with zero issues. I've ran both FMJ and self defense rounds thru it. Reminds me of the XD series but with a better trigger in my opinion. It is a heavy gun but handles recoil well. Excellent buy!
Seriously can't beat this price -- in for one.
Just ordered mines gotta wait til after Christmas to ship but at least i know its coming :)
Ordered mine to review this AM. Hope it ships before Xmas. Really is a no-brainer at this price to have as a buddy gun or stash gun. Always liked how my XD9 and XDm shot. Very good recoil management design.
Picked it up from my FFL yesterday and I've got to say.. I'm super impressed. It's definitely a little top-heavy because of the 4340 metal, but that only helps mitigate the recoil and adds durability. Very much an XD clone, but I actually like this more. The trigger is more along the lines of the XDm than the XD, so not a match-grade by any means, but I've felt alot worse. For ~$200 shipped, it's really hard to beat this gun. We're talking SCCY prices here.
Great gun I just put 250 rounds and not a single problem runs like a top best gun for the money and I have multiple guns to compare what a deal!
LOL Price is going up on these, I got mine for 189, no complaints at that price, but at 249? I prefer the Taurus g3 personally.
