Combat Armory had sent the lower without a signature required upon delivery which is against the law. The firearm was left in the mailbox outside next to a busy street, anyone could've stolen the firearm.
Can you put a gen 4 slide on a gen 3 lower?
So what's the real benefit of buying just the lower?
Does the lower or the upper on a handgun require the ffl? Is it the same as an AR lower?
If its gen 3 how is it brand new? Its still a bargain either way, just curious.

To danny_J1995 , OR ANYONE ELSE ** you mentioned Gunbroker having this for less, I have bought many long guns, a few pistols locally, I have ordered AR, uppers and lowers online but I've yet to try the Gunbroker, what do you pay to get this Glock lower (for example) rough estimate, tax ,fees, shipping, etc? FWIW, I ended up ordering a Brand new G17 Gen3 complete frame with Glock hard case and lock for $115 from GunBroker tonight. CA has it listed for $159.

Take caution with ordering from Combat Armory. I placed an order back in May and still have not received it. They sent a tracking number, but it is still not shipped per USPS tracking. I called - Voicemail full. Emailed - no response. Anyone else experienced this with them?
I received my order from them. They had a great deal on Kel-tec PMR 30 and it came safe and sound. It took a week to ship, but it was worth the wait. Just wanted to let everyone know. They are legit and have great deals. Just busy. ha ha

Stipple practice. The grip has the serial and needs an FFL. Most FFLs will make you pay. Unless youre building a custom race gun, I cant see the point.

Between $350 and $500 depending if you buy new or used. I don't see the value here.
The value is found in at least 3 ways; those of us with G19 or G22's with thousands of rounds on an original lower experience heat warp on the muzzle end and are tired of refinishing the gap. Purely cosmetic none the less. Those wanting to build a 22 trainer as detailed below or Zev the crap out of a completely custom build. And finally, those that want to experiment with frame modifications or those that fucked another frame up with modifications.
That makes sense. I was going on the lines of building a functional Glock font a budget. I don't see it happening with this.
I bought one to complete a 22lr trainer and it's exactly as described. Having dealt w/ combat armory on more than one occasion, I'd recommend em.
