Description

Blade HQ exclusive Stealth Kalashnikov, with a smokewashed dagger blade!

This limited edition knife has a smokewashed AUS8 stainless steel blade; it is double-edged with just one edge sharpened (the other edge is used to fold the blade closed). The ergonomically shaped handle is gray finished aluminum with molded finger grips and jimping where the handle and blade meet. The design is thin, elegant, and comfortable. The action of this knife is first rate and comparable to that of the Boker Magnum series. As with other Kalashnikov knives, this knife comes with a pocket clip for easy, tip-up carry.

The first thing you'll notice when you get your knife is that the box is shaped like an AK-47 magazine ("Kalashnikov" is the name of the Russian who designed the AK-47 assault rifle). Inside this clever box is the awesome Boker knife that is sure to become your favorite.

Just gave away an almost the same Boker, just with the Wharncliffe shaped blade to a neighbor.

http://bit.ly/1JHyryE...

He needed a working knife and was using a OTF during H'way construction. He nearly cut off his thumb weeks ago with that OTF, I told him there's no such thing as a OTF reliable work knife. -The fact that he cut his thumb down to the thin shiny layer of tendon next to his thumb bone proved that

His stiches came out last week and I gave him this. You can buy five or six Boker Kalashnikovs for the cost of one Benchmade Rift or similar. (Rift is my edc)

If he cuts himself again I'll give him an auto with a safety, Boker got sued by Benchmade or something like that and no Kalashnikovs have a safety that I'm aware of.

The best thing you can get for him is a knife handling instructions book. LOL

When you posted your reply, he was a cadet, now 2 years later, he's at Embry–Riddle on a full military scholarship.

He broke the Boker blade I gave him in two, so I gave his dad one of my hidden action HK's Scorch automatics made by Benchmade with D2 steel, less apt to break, kind of regret it as Hogue now manufacturers H&K knives. Had I know they were going to discontinue them, I'd have given him something else and kept it, as that Scorch is very hard to tell that it's an automatic.
