With streamlined styling and improved function, the new and improved PSA PA10 is here. The Gen2 model offers an enhanced chamber and extraction, with a more modern appearance.
Barrel: 416R Stainless Steel, chambered in 308 WIN with a 1/10 twist, rifle-length gas. Upper is paired with a Palmetto State Armory 15" M-Lok free-float rail, low profile gas block, and an A2-style muzzle device.
Upper: Precision machined from forged 7075-T6 aluminum, then Black anodize hardcoated to MIL-8625 Type 3 class 2.
Bolt Carrier Group: 9310 steel bolt assembly, nitride treated for durability. 8620 carrier, nitride treated, with a nitride treated gas key properly staked with grade 8 fasteners. Charging handle is also included.
The Gen2 PA10 receivers are functionally compatible with the Gen1 upper receivers, however we recommend matching Gen2 lowers to Gen2 uppers for best appearance. There are external cosmetic differences when mixing Gen1 and Gen2 upper and lower receivers that some may not find appealing. Gen1 lowers will be available in the future for those who want a cosmetic match.
The AR10 platform does not enjoy a common design between manufacturers, like the AR15. As a result, there can and will be subtle differences in the parts kits of various manufacturers. Some parts, like the fire control group, are shared with the AR15 platform to preserve the options for upgrading. For best results, we recommend only using PSA PA10 parts with our uppers and lower receivers. We do not recommend using other manufacturers parts in our products.

It does depend on which generation DPMS and PSA uppers and lowers you have. On AR-10's it's better to stick with the same brand and generation. If you want this upper I'd spend $200 more and also get a PSA lower.
Yes, but like the manufacturers site says cosmetically it won't match. It will function fine though.
