The 224 Valkyrie round was developed to bring unheard of accuracy and long range ballistic performance to the AR-15 platform.
Barrel: The PSA 224 Valkyrie upper receiver was created with a 416R Stainless Steel barrel with a 1:7 twist rate for optimal accuracy over long distances. Cycling reliability is achieved with a rifle length gas system, which is completed with a PSA Low-profile adjustable Gas Block. The barrel is finished off with an A2 flash hider and a PSA 15" Lightweight M-Lok Rail.
Upper Receiver: The forged 7075-T6 A3 AR upper is machined to MIL-SPECS and hard coat anodized. These uppers are made for us right here in the USA by a mil-spec manufacturer.

I got 2 of these. Very lightweight and nice. One has a bad gas block adjustment screw and some very slight Mark's on the hand guard and the other has a few very small nics in the hand guard. I'm very happy with both. Screaming deal for the quality your getting.
Karnis, have you had a chance to take it to your range to see how it performs?
Just received the upper. No idea why its blemished because I can't find a thing wrong with it. It weighs 4lbs 12oz with bcg and charging handle. If it shoots as good as it looks this will be a real winner. Very pleased.
I had a few problems with mine. After the first 6 rounds it stopped cycling. The gas key had struck and deformed the gas tube above the breech. I changed gas tubes with a free replacement from PSA customer support, but that failure happened again. I changed bolts and ran the BCG just fine in a different rifle. I couldn’t get a different BCG to properly engage with the gas tube in this rifle.
I suspect the gas tube penetration in the upper is out of spec, causing to improperly engage with a standard gas key. I’ve sent it back to PSA for repairs. We'll see what they say.
